Our culture is center around youth, beauty, youth and more youth. As a woman who rocks being in my 40s, I too am faced with the challenge of aging and things like … wrinkles. I’m all about trying new products to help fight the signs of aging, but unfortunately I’m extremely picky about the products I use. Before I put something on my face, I need to make sure it is (of course) the best of the best and the product will actually do what it claims.
I was recently introduced to Rx Skin Therapy- a line that is customized to MY skin type and helps to improve the appearance of aging. The first thing I LOVED about this product was the skin type analysis. So many anti-aging products claim to vary for different skin types, however after taking the Rx Skin Therapy analysis, I found that my skin type is in a DIFFERENT category from where I would usually place myself.
I’ve tried three products (the line has 18 different products in total) so far and had great results.
Product #1- Retinol Complex: I apply a small amount of this light oil on my face every night right before bed. This product helps to diminish fine lines, wrinkles, and sun spots.
Product #2- Skin Firming Serum: I apply a small amount of this oil every morning after I wash and dry my face (and before I moisturize). The Skin Firming Serum evens out skin tone, which is really important for me.
Product #3- Glycolic Acid Peel Gel: I was most excited about this product because I LOVE going to the spa and getting a chemical peel, however I don’t have TIME to go as often as I like and Spa peels tend to be very costly. I do the glycolic acid peel gel once or twice a week, however you can do it up to three times a week. You only leave the peel on for 3-5 minutes, so it can easily be done in the morning OR at night. This product tightens the skin reducing fine lines and wrinkles.
All products are GLUTEN FREE and contain NO dyes or fragrances (which tend to do more irritation than restoration to my skin anyway). I can’t wait to expand to other products in the line and have better looking skin than women half my age!
