Sightseeing in Style

April 12, 2017 Rachel Ferrucci Leave a Comment

Are your bored of the ordinary vacation? If you are, then why not make a change during your next bout of traveling? Why not, for instance, challenge yourself to see all the sights the world has to offer — in style. There are a whole host of ways to travel in style, and even more sophisticated things to do on your travels; make sure to check a handful of them out below.

To begin you should know that some cities lend themselves perfectly to the sophisticated visitor: one of which is London. In London there are an array of stylish and sophisticated things to do, one of which is to visit Studio Bar. This is just about as sophisticated as bars come, what with the drop-column chandeliers that adorns its ceilings and its black granite bar. And the drinks provided are just as stylish too! Created by professional mixologists the cocktails that are whipped up there just scream style. Plus, the venue has been known to host a few famous faces in its time — if celeb watching is one your favored hobbies, then this is the place for you. And of course once you’re done in this bar then there are a plethora of London’s sights just waiting for you to see them. And whether it be Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, the London Eye or Buckingham Palace a selfie taken in front of them, if from the right angle, will just scream sophistication.

But if you don’t want to stick to one place then why not go on the hunt for more sophisticated things to do in the world? There are a whole host of sophisticated things to do in this world and what is more sophisticated than wine tasting? There’s something about wine that makes it sophisticated, so whether you are a wine connoisseur or just like a little drop on the weekends why not take to planning a wine tasting experience? You can do so by heading to the best vineyards in Europe in France or Italy, in America, or even in as far as the sunny shores of Australia! The stylish image that you give when holding a glass of wine is unrivaled by any of other type of beverage, so why not devote a part of your traveling experience to it? You can then take all your newfound wine drinking knowledge back home with you and impress all of your friends with it.

Even if you don’t consider yourself to be sophisticated at all there’s nothing wrong with doing a bit of sightseeing in style. There are a whole host of stylish restaurants to dine in, bars to drink in and sights to see in this world and there’s nothing wrong in indulging in them all! Make sure to check these sophisticated travelling tips before you fly off, however, or you may find yourself quickly slipping back into the ordinary on your travels once again!

You’ll find a replica David in the square but going to Accademia Gallery in Florence and seeing this breathtaking statue by Michelangelo is 100% worth it, whether you like art or not. His right leg has a tree stump which balances the entire statue.
