Are You The Shy Type? How Style Can Break Down Walls

June 22, 2017 Rachel Ferrucci Leave a Comment

Being stylish is never easy. But it;’s especially difficult if you’ve got a shy personality type. If you’re shy, you rarely feel 100 confident in your own skin, which is why wearing the right clothes can be so important. If you get your style right, you’ll feel confident all day and wow everybody you meet.

This is how being stylish can help you feel stylish, working wonders for your confidence and self-esteem.

Learn Your Body Type

If you find yourself always forcing yourself into clothes which don’t fit just because they’re the fashion right now, then you’re already getting yourself into trouble. Trying to don a pair of skinny jeans when you’re all about voluptuous curves will just make you feel awkward: hardly what you want when you’re trying to push out of your shell.

It’s a much better idea to play to your strengths. Have a great mid-section? Flaunt it. Want to show off your smooth legs? Choose a pair of hot pants: that should do the trick. Just make sure that whatever you choose fits in with the rest of your aesthetic.

Build Your Personal Style

Who wants to just follow the crowd? Nothing is stopping you from developing your own style, especially now that you can customize your accessories. When you buy watches online and other accessories, including earrings, you’re usually able to make them your own, choosing the materials, styles, and colors. There’s so much choice that you really can tailor your own outfits: who cares what the models are wearing in Paris and London? Having a personal style is all about having a specific go-to look – one that you can be confident in, day in, day out.

Choose Dress Colors That Match Your Skintone

Another big problem that many women face is matching their outfits to their skin tone. When the colors are off, things just don’t look right, which can sap you of your confidence. Choosing the right colors for your skin tone is actually surprisingly easy. If your skin tone is more on the blue end of the spectrum, choose clothes that are gray or silver. If, however, you’ve got a warmer, redder skin tone, choose greens, blues, and even yellows.

Spend A Little Extra Time Getting Ready In The Morning

Want to look and feel your best? Try giving yourself a bit of extra time in the morning. Having sexy hair, beautiful skin or great makeup will help you to come out of your shell, helping you to feel better than ever. Leave those shy feelings behind by getting ready, feeling confident in your appearance and stepping out the front door, knowing that you’re looking sharp.

If You’re Not Sure About Your Outfit, Go Back To The Drawing Board

Leaving the house not feeling confident about what you’re wearing can be a disaster waiting to happen. Therefore, it’s a good idea never to leave the house when you’re unsure about your outfit. Not sure about your outfit choice? Instagram a picture of what you’re wearing to a friend who will be honest with you and get their opinion.

You’ll find a replica David in the square but going to Accademia Gallery in Florence and seeing this breathtaking statue by Michelangelo is 100% worth it, whether you like art or not. His right leg has a tree stump which balances the entire statue.
