ShareAMeal with Hungry Kids and Families From Unilever

November 13, 2015 Rachel Ferrucci Leave a Comment

ShareAmealThis time of year is often thought of as a time to give thanks and a time to give to others. There is so much we can do to help and one of the most in need groups are children. 1 in 5 children in America face hunger every single day. This year you can help because Unilever is doing something about it. Unilever is partnering with Feeding America to provide one million meals to those in need during this year’s holiday season, and you can help us provide a million more.ShareAmeal

All you need to do is engage! #ShareAMeal is being posted all over with pictures of plates on Instagram and Twitter. Like or retweet a photo and Unilever will donate a meal to Feeding America. You can also buy Unilever products like Dove or Hellmann’s in-store or online. Check out their coupon in the Sunday paper on November 15th for purchases and they will donate a meal. During their partnership with Feeding America, Unilever has provided over 30 million meals in just five short years. You can visit brightfuture.unilever.us to learn more about ending childhood hunger. ShareAmeal

You can also help locally. Donate to your local food bank or donate time at a soup kitchen or shelter. Children are our future and should be well fed and full on love! #ShareAMeal and you can change a life.

You’ll find a replica David in the square but going to Accademia Gallery in Florence and seeing this breathtaking statue by Michelangelo is 100% worth it, whether you like art or not. His right leg has a tree stump which balances the entire statue.
