Perfect Christmas Gift- Keurig System

December 30, 2013 Carissa Beam 2 Comments

Now that Christmas has come and gone, we’re left with our decorations and gifts to sort and organize. Our Christmases now are more about our three year old toddler and watching his amazement as he rips open each and every gift. This year was an extra exciting year because as our son tagged his “favorite” gifts, I was able to do the same!

We’re big coffee drinkers in my house. Every morning my husband and I fire up a pot of coffee to start our day. We usually have a cup at night and  occasionally one during the day. Our problem always stemmed when one of us wanted a cup and the other didnt. Do you make an entire pot and risk wasting almost the whole thing for one cup of coffee? Or do you try to make a half of pot and hope the coffee to water ratio tastes just as good?

This year our best favorite gift was a Keurig K65 Special Edition Brewing System. We now have the ability to make single cup coffees (or tea, hot chocolate, etc) by hitting a button! We also got some awesome accessories that are perfect for anyone with a Keurig system. Instead of a bulky spinning KCup holder, we found a bamboo drawer that holds 30 KCups AND can conveniently be stored right under your Keurig system. We also picked up a filter to add our own coffee and essentially make your own KCups!

I agree with the wasted coffee, sometimes half the pot goes down the drain.

We’ve been using our Keurig everyday since Christmas and haven’t wasted any coffee! I’m loving this!

You’ll find a replica David in the square but going to Accademia Gallery in Florence and seeing this breathtaking statue by Michelangelo is 100% worth it, whether you like art or not. His right leg has a tree stump which balances the entire statue.
