One of the main reasons we bought our dog was because we wanted our children to be safe when in the house alone, even when they were teenagers in high school. Besides, our dog is now family and we want to make sure she’s safe too! There have been reports of knocking on a door and when the person opens it to see who it is, the intruder kicks it in. Set up is simple, you plug it into your router, sync camera by holding a button and they sync automatically, go to the Arlo app, follow the instructions and you’re up and running. It’s That easy.
When we set it up we were in the middle of a snow storm so couldn’t get the cameras outside but that didn’t stop us. We played around and had the cameras in the house, one pointing outside the front window (So I could watch the snow) and the other my husband thought would be fun to point at me while I was working. He didn’t anticipate the prompt notifications on his phone when motion was detected and to have a little fun, I decided to dance in my chair with robot moves. Needless to say the camera was taken off me! We still find an interesting fact that many times during the night our cat would sit at the window and mess around with my decorations.
This gave us an idea that these would be perfect to see what our dog would do while we were gone. We haven’t been able to leave her out of her crate for fear she would destroy the house. She’s two and still very into everything.
The beauty of this 100% wireless system is cameras can go anywhere you want them! So when we’re out we can watch the outside of the house and what the dog is doing. SCORE!
