The Make Up You Need In Your Life

October 26, 2017 Rachel Ferrucci Leave a Comment

Makeup is a wonderful thing. For hundreds of years people have been using makeup to change the way they look. Fortunately we live in a time where the quality of the makeup we use is at an all time high. There’s so many different products out there that do so many different things for your face. Whether that be concealing spots, extenuating facial feature, or making your lips look bigger. Take a look at the following items you need to add to your makeup bag.

First and foremost, let’s talk contouring. It has took the world by storm in the last year or so, with social media beauty ehnthusiastics opening our eyes to the wonders it can do. It comes in either a powder, cream, or liquid form. Contour will usually come in a set, and will have two separate parts. There’s the darker color to put underneath your cheekbones, and in other particular areas of your face. Then there’s a lighter color to put above the cheekbones and other contrasting areas. The idea is it’ll thin the parts of your face needed, and make others more prominent. If you know how to do it correctly, it really can change the whole look of your face. Creams or liquids are the most effective. But powders are easy to learn with, so get yourself a decent set and give it a whirl.

Highlighter is another product that’s really taken the limelight over the last year. To be honest, we can see why. The lovely glow and shimmer it gives off is amazing. You can put it on your check bones, from around the middle towards the outer part of your face, or the end of your nose and top of your lip. There are so many different colours out there that’ll give such a nice finish. The lighter colours are the most popular, and you’ll rarely see a girl on a night out now without a little shimmer on her face. If you want to have a look at a top quality one, check out Gallany.com. Highlighter will forever change your life.

Lip liner if you don’t already use it is a must have. You do exactly what the name is, and put it around the line of your lip. Some people like to draw over the edge of the lip a little to give a bit of extra size, but be careful with this as you can start to look a little fake. It’s purpose is to define the shape of your lips. When used with a nice matte lipstick, your lips will have never looked better. For advice on how to use lipliner properly, check out this post http://coveteur.com.

Eyelashes are the last thing we’ll rave about, and with good reason. If you’re going on a night out, lashes should be a must. Nothing makes your eyes look better than a nice full set on long lashes. Nothing seems to achieve this like false ones. They glue on easy enough, and come in all different shapes and sizes. Start with a relatively small, less thick pair and see how they make your eyes look. Then you can begin to experiment with the fuller look.

You’ll find a replica David in the square but going to Accademia Gallery in Florence and seeing this breathtaking statue by Michelangelo is 100% worth it, whether you like art or not. His right leg has a tree stump which balances the entire statue.
