Easy Homemade Icebox Cake for Dessert

Easy IceBox cakeWhen it comes to desserts for our holiday dinners, we usually go overboard. There are at least ten to choose from. We have everyone’s favorites and then I always like to do something any kid would love, easy homemade icebox cake! My favorite is creme brulee‘ but that doesn’t stop me from having some icebox cake. Icebox cake has everything that anyone would love. Oh and did I mention it’s super easy to make. This is one dessert that the kids can help to make easily.

Ingredients

Graham Crackers

1 lg box Vanilla Pudding

1 lg box Chocolate Pudding

2 Bananas

Directions

  1. Slice bananas Easy IceBox cake
  2. Place four graham crackers in a large baggie and crush with a rolling pin. The kids love this part! Easy IceBox cake
  3. Line 9×12 baking dish with graham crackers. Cut pieces to fit at the edges
  4. Cook pudding (Instant pudding can be used but cooked is creamier and tastes better)
  5. Pour chocolate pudding over graham crackers in dish Easy IceBox cake
  6. Place pieces of bananas approximately 2-3 inches apart on top of vanilla pudding
  7. Add another row of graham crackers on top- cutting pieces to fit if need be
  8. Pour vanilla pudding over graham crackers Easy IceBox cake
  9. Repeat with bananas Easy IceBox cake
  10. Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs over top  Easy IceBox cake
  11. Refrigerate for one hour Easy IceBox cake
