Why You Should Stay At Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott

I love to travel and see new things but once the day is over and I’m back in my hotel room, I sometimes get sad because I miss home. I was never one who liked being alone but I love travel more so I do it. When I get back to the hotel, I like to be able to keep myself busy and I like easy. I also like to have things that are like home. I’m staying at the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott in Bristol County, MA as a guest of the Massachusetts Department of Tourism visiting the historic whaling city and here are my thoughts why you should stay here too!

Some of these are so simple that a normal person wouldn’t think about them. Being I’m not normal and fairly anal, this is what’s important to me.

Free Bottled Water– I hate to pay for water and if it isn’t clearly stated that it’s free, I don’t open it fearing I’ll be charged eight dollars

Channel Listing Card– Who wants to spend 10 minutes going through channels looking for your favorite shows. If there’s a guide on the remote, you know you always hit the wrong button and you’re hoping you didn’t just order the porn movie or apply for Xbox.

Normal Shampoo, Conditioner, and Moisturizer– It doesn’t need to be an expensive brand but I don’t want to use products that stripped my hair or makes my skin feel like it’s turned into leather. I also don’t want fake moisturizer.

Good Pillows– Please make sure I have at least two pillows and I don’t want them flat so it feels like I’m sleeping on a folded sweatshirt. Extra pillows in the closest is always a plus

A desk or place to work with an outlet for charging– Fairfield Inn rooms feel like a suite with a mini living room. Furnished with a couch, desk, chairs, and an LCD TV. Outlets are exactly where you’d like them and there’s no hunting for an outlet and leaving your phone on the floor.

Free Wifi– It just sucks when we have to pay $14.95 for internet.

My favorite! Free Breakfast– Having the choice of muffins or bagels just doesn’t cut it. I love the waffles with strawberries & whipped cream, fruit, juice, and coffee!! There was also eggs, ham, muffins, danish, yogurt, cereal, and more!
