Experience Brunch for Mother’s Day or Any Sunday at Saybrook Point Inn & Spa

April 27, 2015 Rachel Ferrucci 27 Comments

Brunch_FreshSaltAt Fresh Salt, Saybrook Point Inn and Spa you don’t eat brunch, you experience it. Located on the shore of Saybrook, Connecticut, you’ll enjoy all your favorites and have options to try new dishes while sitting enjoying a waterfront view of the marina and the sun glistening off the water. Their brunch is served every Sunday from 10:30 am until 2:15 pm.

Sip on a Momosa or a Bloody Mary and dive into the variety of scrumptious farm fresh salads, shrimp cocktail, or waffles topped with fresh fruit and homemade whipped cream. Create an omelet made to order with locally sourced produce and seafood or bacon that’s cooked to perfection. It will be a hard decision at the pasta station with all the fillings so don’t ponder, try them all. The carving station with a selection of meats, such as roast beef or lamb will have you going back for seconds. You will also find a sushi station that looks to pretty to eat but don’t let that stop you. Save room for the array of delectable desserts that will knock your socks off!

I could have stayed there all day. The choices were amazing for this picky eater and I played it wisely taking a little bit of everything. My favorites? Waffles with strawberries and homemade whipped cream, the tomato & muzz salad, and everything in the first room. Did I forget to mention they needed two rooms to display all the food?

This brunch will delight even the most picky eater and will have everyone’s belly filled and smiles on your face!

You’ll find a replica David in the square but going to Accademia Gallery in Florence and seeing this breathtaking statue by Michelangelo is 100% worth it, whether you like art or not. His right leg has a tree stump which balances the entire statue.
