I’m lucky when I need to run errands because I have every store within 10-15 minutes from my house. There are many times when I’m calling my daughter and asking if she’ll take a run to the store with me (she lives across the street). We try to map out our stops to save as much time as we can. I grab my bag and tell my husband, “I’m running to [insert store], I’ll be back in 20 mins.” He replies, ” OK, I’ll see you in an hour and bring me something from Starbucks!” It has become a “thing” that no matter where we go, we end up at one of two Starbucks. My car sometimes is auto-pilot to Starbucks and can probably order our drinks for us.
I also have my Starbucks K-Cup coffee every morning and truthfully I can’t function without it. Please don’t talk to me until I’ve taken a minimum of four sips followed by an “Ahhhhhh”. We’re in CT so in the winter I savor warm drinks at night and sometimes during the day. I love hot cocoa, especially on days when it snows and when we cuddle up and watch movies.
With all my Starbucks flavors at home, I never thought to try their hot cocoa K-Cups……until… I was sent a Starbucks cozy collection and used this as a perfect excuse to schedule our Snow White movie night with my girls. Yes, we have to schedule them now that they are on their own 🙁
We popped in Snow White, grabbed our Starbucks hot cocoa, and cuddled up under my new blanket. It was perfect! The memories of my two little girls came flooding back, making this mama happy. Zia was surprised when I handed her a mug of Starbucks Salted Caramel Hot Cocoa (her absolute favorite), topped with whipped cream, salt & caramel drizzle. Crissy and I had the Starbucks Classic Hot Cocoa also topped with whipped cream and caramel drizzle. We indulged as we snuggled and watched our movie. These times are important to me so I want everything to be a perfect memory, right down to our hot cocoa!
