Cool Points: 3 Ways Dads Can Impress Their Children

April 26, 2017 Rachel Ferrucci Leave a Comment

A father’s role is vital in the life of a child. Your little boy or girl probably thinks you’re the coolest person in the world right now. Still, there’s a lot you can do to win some extra cool points this year. You just need to think ahead and make sure you put everything in place. There are some ideas on this page that might help you with the task. If you take this advice, you will score an immense amount of cool points this year. That will assist in keeping your kids happy, but it will also make you feel like a better dad. With all that in mind, let’s get started.

Take them to a theme park

There is no getting away from that fact that most children love theme parks. Some would probably go to live there if they had the opportunity. All those rides look incredibly exciting to young eyes, and to there’s many cool points to be won. Just search online for the best parks in your local area with rides that match their ages. The list at http://www.themeparktourist.com/features/20140228/16441/top-50-theme-parks-world is a good place to start. You might have to spend some cash because the tickets aren’t cheap. However, this isn’t something you’ll do every weekend. It is a treat, and so you shouldn’t worry too much about spending the money. Just remember to take your camera along for the trip. There are going to be some excellent photo opportunities, and that should help you to remember the day.

Show them how to survive in nature

Dads seem invincible to kids, and incredibly smart too. Every time something breaks, and you use your tools to fix it, your little ones will think you’re a superhero. Of course, you should always encourage them to spend time in nature away from their televisions. So, maybe you like the idea of arranging a camping trip or something similar? You can show your children how to build shelters, cook, and more. They’ll think you’re some survivalist genius, and that adds cool points. However, you’ll also teach them some essential skills that could save their lives one day. At the very least, they might pass those skills onto their kids in a few years time.

Get their favorite movies on DVD

Children love Disney films and other top titles designed for their age group. So, it’s always wise to ensure you have their favorite films to hand. Sites like http://www.netflixupdate.com/netflix-dvd-service/ make that easy. You could either order some DVDs or use an online streaming service. The former option is better because kids often spend a long time browsing. If you have the titles on DVD, it’s much easier to keep them focused. Of course, you won’t have to spend a fortune because prices have come down a lot in recent years.
Now you have some excellent ideas for impressing your kids; I hope you will make an extra effort this summer. Children grow up fast these days, and so you only have a few precious years to make these memories. Don’t waste time, and ensure you make every moment count. Before you know it, they’ll head off to university and begin lives of their own.

You’ll find a replica David in the square but going to Accademia Gallery in Florence and seeing this breathtaking statue by Michelangelo is 100% worth it, whether you like art or not. His right leg has a tree stump which balances the entire statue.
