Life is hard for women. Not at the root of it all, but because of the way society and the media shapes us. You can say it’s fine to go for the natural look, but “natural” means something very different for different people. If you were to turn up to work with a mustache and no make-up you’d feel all eyes slowly burning into your face. That isn’t such a crazy image, is it?

The problem isn’t that we feel pressured to make ourselves feel beautiful, as people of both sexes feel that pressure. It’s something we all aspire to anyway. We all want to look as good as we possibly can. The problem is how gosh darn difficult it is for women to look good. Our beauty regime isn’t simple. It’s time-consuming and frustrating.
However, it doesn’t have to be. There are some hacks when it comes to beauty. Perhaps once I’ve explained some of them, you’ll stop seeing your daily routine like a “regime”, and more like a quick, painless everyday habit, such as brushing your teeth.
Natural solutions.
The time-consuming nature of looking beautiful isn’t the only frustrating thing about it. The cost of cosmetic products can be enough to send tempers through the roof; never mind bills. Perhaps, then, the solution is to replace a few of your cosmetic products with quicker, cheaper, natural solutions.
Above all else, going for the natural route might make you feel a little healthier and a little less self-conscious about what you’re putting into or on your body. There are lots of reasonably-price organic vegan products on the market now, especially when it comes to skincare. So, if you’re willing to a little bit of research initially, you could find a product to use forever which makes you feel like you’re asking a little less of your skin on a day-to-day basis. Red lipstick might seem stereotypical, but the majority of people still find it as bold and powerful as ever. It draws attention to that part of your face, meaning a lack of contour is probably going to go unnoticed. Don’t overthink it, and don’t waste your time on unnecessary parts of getting ready.
