5 Reasons To Visit Carson Valley NV

June 28, 2017 Rachel Ferrucci Leave a Comment

Carson Valley

I have partnered with Carson Valley and all opinions are my own.

Stay– You will find everything you need to stay in Carson Valley from hotels, bed and breakfasts, resorts, RV parks, and campgrounds. I love to go on an adventure but my choice for a property in Carson Valley is 1862 David Walley’s Hot Springs Resort. Their one and two bedroom luxury suites are surrounded with an amazing view of the majestic Sierra Mountain Range. The luxury suites have everything from a kitchen, fireplace, and a private balcony. My ultimate “take me here” is the five natural mineral hot springs & spa!

Activities – Create a legendary day finding wild horses, spotting bald eagles, or soaring in a glider. Hit the bike trails or the ski slopes, or maybe your perfect day is to find a spot with your favorite book and take in the spectacular scenery. If you’re a water lover go swimming or rent a boat and cruise the lake. John Humphrey

Shopping – There is always time for shopping to find those one-of-a-kind treasures. Boutiques, chocolate and wine will surely fill your suitcase on your trip home. There are also many galleries and vintage shops to find pieces to add to your fashion wardrobe.

Food- When on vacation you have to find the best places to eat. Find a local coffee shop to sit and people or dress up and have a big juicy steak at the Country Club. Indulge in homemade ice cream as you stroll Main St!

Entertainment – You’re in Nevada, home of the casinos. Take a night to head to the casino and see one of their many shows with the top stars! Try your luck at the tables or the slots and maybe you’ll be able to go back to that boutique and purchase more treasures!

Hot Springs– I know this is number six but these need their own description. You have two places to find your hot spring, Grover Hot Springs State Park which has two concrete pools that is fed by the runoff from six mineral springs with an average temperature between 102 and 104 degrees F. They also have fire pits and grills, cupboards, bear-proof lockers and tables. We already touched upon 1862 David Walley’s Hot Springs Resort who has five mineral spas. The geothermal heated groundwater is produces naturally from the Earth’s mantle. Our swimming pool is heated with geothermal water.

Start planning your adventure in Carson Valley now and come back and share with us.

I didn’t realize how much poor sleep was affecting my trips… until I fixed it.

Waking up tired, adjusting to new places, different beds, time zones… it adds up fast.

Traveling with the AirMini changed that for me. It’s compact, simple, and makes it easy to stay consistent no matter where I am.

Now I actually feel like I’m experiencing my trips, not just getting through them.

Check it out at the link in my bio.

#ad No one tells you that your skin doesn’t just “age”… it changes.

Dryness, dullness, fine lines, that crepey texture… it’s not just time. It’s hormonal.

I kept layering on creams thinking I just needed something “better,” but nothing was actually addressing what was going on underneath.

M4 from @myalloy is different. It’s prescription skincare made specifically for hormonal skin, using topical estriol to help restore collagen, hydration, and elasticity right where your skin needs it.

It doesn’t enter your bloodstream. It works at the skin level. And honestly… it just makes sense.
