5 Items You Should Not Travel Without

June 15, 2016 Rachel Ferrucci 2 Comments

Whether you are traveling for business or pleasure, there are some items you shouldn’t travel without. There are the obvious ones—such as your basic clothing and toiletries—but others are easier to forget. Below are the most important items we think you should always take with you that are the easiest to forget. Here are 5 Items You Shouldn’t Travel Without!

sunscreenSunscreen

In the summer, when traveling to warm destinations, this is an item most people will pack. But even when you are traveling in winter or to colder destinations, you really need to keep this with you. The sun can be quite powerful no matter the temperature or season. And if you are traveling outside of the US, it can also get very expensive, so make sure you take it with you rather than waiting to purchase it once you arrive. comfortable flats

Cute-but-Comfortable Flats

Shoes take up a lot of room in your suitcase, so you want your pick to really work for you. Cute, comfortable flats are the way to go. They pair well with most looks and can keep your feet cozy as you explore your destination. Sunglasses

Sunglasses

When walking down the street right into the sun, you will find yourself wishing you had good sunglasses. But in addition to their practical use, they are also great for hiding the fact that you might not have gotten enough sleep. In addition to late nights, not all of us get our best sleep while on the road.

RX (perscription)Basic Medicines

Hotels will have these stocked, but you will also be paying a pretty penny for them. If you are traveling in the US, this might not be a big concern for you, but if you are traveling abroad, you might not be able to find the medicines you are comfortable with. Rather than risk it, take some with you.

Phone Numbers

How many times have you said you would be lost without your phone? When traveling you should keep a small phone book, we’re talking old school here, and keep all your important phone numbers in it. If you should ever lose or damage your phone at least you’ll have the ones you need on hand.

I didn’t realize how much poor sleep was affecting my trips… until I fixed it.

Waking up tired, adjusting to new places, different beds, time zones… it adds up fast.

Traveling with the AirMini changed that for me. It’s compact, simple, and makes it easy to stay consistent no matter where I am.

Now I actually feel like I’m experiencing my trips, not just getting through them.

Check it out at the link in my bio.

#ad No one tells you that your skin doesn’t just “age”… it changes.

Dryness, dullness, fine lines, that crepey texture… it’s not just time. It’s hormonal.

I kept layering on creams thinking I just needed something “better,” but nothing was actually addressing what was going on underneath.

M4 from @myalloy is different. It’s prescription skincare made specifically for hormonal skin, using topical estriol to help restore collagen, hydration, and elasticity right where your skin needs it.

It doesn’t enter your bloodstream. It works at the skin level. And honestly… it just makes sense.
