4 Simple Ways To Look And Feel Your Best On Your Spiritually Stimulating Travels

April 25, 2017 Rachel Ferrucci Leave a Comment

Travel broadens the mind, heart and the spirit. This is why so many of us dream of taking a vacation in our leisure time. Many attribute their time in foreign cultures as the most formative years of their world outlook, and it’s true. If you never go outside of your hometown, you just won’t have the perspective of those that do. However, this doesn’t mean you need to rough it and look sluggish through jungles, ancient temples or an inviting beach.

What follows is a list of five style tips that can help you look your best during even the most demanding foreign experiences.

  1. Eliminate unnecessary odors.

This might not be the most graceful place to start, but it’s one of the most important. In order to feel your best, you have to smell good. Going on long safari journeys or mountain hikes might be physically demanding, but that doesn’t mean body odor should be your closest ally. In order to combat the stench you can easily provoke in warm climates, taking sweat-prevention spray and making sure you apply it to your underarms before sleep, coupled with a morning shower can reduce your perspiration in the areas that are likely to develop a smell. This should hopefully prevent attracting dangerous animals, but we can’t be sure.

  1. Taking Care of Teeth Before You Travel

You never know, you might meet the love of your life on this trip. You’re definitely going to meet people interested in the same locale as you, so it’s a good idea to take a few steps to prepare (before you embark,) in order to fully feel comfortable in your skin. A great smile is one of the more attractive features of a potential friend or lover, so make sure you’re not letting your side down in this department. Consider purchasing a teeth whitening kit, taking specialist whitening toothpaste on your trip, or checking out affordable cosmetic dentistry services.

  1. Sleep

The excitement of your vacation can have tremendous effects on your ability to sleep, and of course unwinding in the evening can easily turn into a 5 am wine drinking session without you realizing if you’re in the right company. Absolutely enjoy your trip, but don’t lack on your sleep. Traveling to a destination is draining in itself, let alone finding your way, understanding how to interact with the culture and just plain enjoying yourself. Make sure you’re emotionally available for the rest of the trip by getting your beauty sleep, your brain and body will thank you.

  1. Drink plenty of fluids and eat healthily.

You can easily remedy feeling drained during your long hours of exploration by simply making sure you’re drinking enough water and getting enough healthy nutrition. Why not make sampling the local cuisine a priority on your holiday? You might be surprised with what you enjoy and it will feel like an adventure as opposed to a chore to take care of. Flying halfway across the world in order to enjoy the meals you enjoy at home from a store could be considered ‘missing the point.’

Keep these methods close to heart and your spiritually uplifting vacation can also help you relate to your image in a positive, lasting way. Not to mention how fantastic you’ll look in your holiday snaps!
For all those traveling, we hope you have a fantastic time!

You’ll find a replica David in the square but going to Accademia Gallery in Florence and seeing this breathtaking statue by Michelangelo is 100% worth it, whether you like art or not. His right leg has a tree stump which balances the entire statue.
