Halloween Candy- It’s Time To Go!

Do you wonder what to do with all that Halloween candy? I have three kiddos so we have tons of the stuff.  It’s been days of finding wrappers and seeing the kids with chocolate fingers and faces. Halloween candy – it’s time to go! My goal this weekend was to find different ways to it or get rid of it.  I succeeded a little!

Saturday morning we got up and took the kids Apple picking so we could make caramel apples and decorate them with the Halloween candy!  The boys and my daughter thought this was lots of fun.  The kids loved making caramel apple faces with the candy! 

Sunday,  the boys and I made my favorite cookies,  Halloween dump cookies,  we use our favorite candy and add them into the cookie batter. It’s a great way to get rid of all that candy. Of course the trick is to give lots of cookies to friends or family.

Now I have to get creative, when the boys get up tomorrow the candy fairy will leave them a couple of hot wheels cars in place of half their candy bags!  Finally,  a large portion makes its way to my work!
