Checklist For The Holidays

Thanksgiving will be at my daughters so need to decorate my house. I will be able to go to her house and help with the cooking. While everyone is working on Thanksgiving, I’m getting a head start on Christmas. There’s so much to do so I start with a checklist for the holidays

 

Decorate

  • Buy new blow up snowman
  • Buy other blow up things for boys
  • Make snowflake bags for tealights for walkway
• Inside
  • Decorations Inside
    • Find decorations
    • Ties (for garland)
    • New Ribbon for Bows
    • Check Lights
    • Get batteries
    • Get Snow blankets/Batting
    • Get powdered snow
    • Thumb tacs
  • Village
    • Get Styrofoam
    • Get snow
    • Check for new Christmas In The City pieces
    • Find bulk EnviroTex

Christmas Eve

• Food
  • Make menu list
  • Get out platters (wash)
  • Glasses
  • Dishes
  • Serving Utensils
  • Coffee Cups
  • Candles
  • Food Name Tags
• Presents
  • Wrapping paper
  • Ribbon
  • Tape
• Music – Get out holiday cds
• Movies – get out holiday movies
• Find xmas eve PJ’s and apron

Presents

• Make list
• Make name tags
• More wrapping paper

Misc

• Cards (order)
• Buy stamps
• Sign and Address cards
• Never mail
