You know that huge pile of old VHS, 8mm, and all the other tapes you have put away because you don’t have the right equipment to watch it anymore? Well I was asked by Yes Video to review their service to transfer some of my tapes. There has been a couple I’ve been dying to see again and to get on DVD so I can share them with you. I was so excited to get the tapes back only to find I had one marked wrong and to my surprise it was one that I totally forgot about…. BONUS!!
The process was super easy, I went on Yes Video, filled out my order, printed all the forms that were needed, including the shipping and packing slip. I popped everything into a padded envelope, tape the printed shipping label on and off it went. I received my DVDs in about 2 weeks and the covers displayed still clips so I knew exactly what was on each video.
One of the video’s I’ll be sharing soon and you are going to pee your pants, well maybe not pee your pants but if you know me at all, you’ll understand the craziness of my husbands 40th birthday party. I can not wait to share this. My surprise DVD was of my daughters when they first started dancing, keep in mind they danced for 10 years so their beginning dancing is precious to us.
Yes Video preserves all your reels, slides, photos, VHS, 8mm, and any other video you have by transferring it onto a DVD or they can create a hi-definition Blu-ray movie!
The MemorySafe service is for people like me who have no idea what’s on some of the videos. You can send in all your videos, view them on MemorySafe and Edit your videos and even share clips on Facebook, Twitter and email. This is one of my favorite options. It’s Free for 60 days or you can pay only $9.99 for the year- I say totally worth it!
You can now take those tapes and photos and make them into gifts for your whole family! It gets better:

I would want to transfer some home and family VHS movies to DVD since I don’t even own a working VCR anymore. The memories would be great to watch again!

I have the infamous video of my wedding that I would love to have on DVD. You know, the video where I stumbled and made and @#$ out of myself.
