Working Your Womanly Curves

March 4, 2017 Rachel Ferrucci Leave a Comment

Thankfully the time of the ‘waif’ is well and truly over. Womanly curves, boobs, and butts are all back in style. But how can you make the best of your curves, no matter what shape and size you are? Read on to find out.

Bust

If you have a larger bust, then hooray for you! But you will still need to know how to make those gorgeous curves work for you the best they can. The major thing here is that you need to get a well fitting bra. So pop along and get measured by a professional in the lingerie department. Don’t get too hung up on the sizes either, just go for the one that fits you the best, and gives you the best posture. bras and panties

Although it’s important to remember too that the support is the most vital thing. For example, you can get some great lift and support from a balcony bra, if you have larger breasts, and not only will your bust look perkier. But it will also create a great line between you bust and your waist, giving you more definition.

Or perhaps you have a bust that is on the smaller side? The bigger girls envy you because you can wear gorgeous strapless numbers without a bra. But you may feel like you want a little more curve in this area.

If this is the case, then there are plenty of things that you can do. You can try a push-up or padded bra which is designed to emphasize what you have while still giving you a natural look under clothes.

Or you may want to try one of the bust enhancing creams that are on offer, which you can learn more about by reading posts like Naturaful reviews. Or you can even try some target exercises for the chest like chest presses, arms raises, and pull-ups, in the gym.

Waist

Thick or thin, there is a ratio between the waist and the bust and hip that is seen as being most attractive. This is called the hourglass ratio, and it where the waist is around .70 of the hips or bust measurement. measuring belly

But as we all know there are many different body types, and we can’t control the way in which fat is distributed on our bodies, So what is a girl to do? Well, of course, you can hit the gym and bang out some crunches, but this is only going to get you so far. corset

Instead, how about using bodying shapers to get you that hourglass figure? There are plenty of waist trainers available, as seen on the Kardashians, no less! As well as other structured types of underwear than pinch you in at the waist, without you having to do a thing.

Some are more comfortable than others, though, so make sure to try a few on before you make a commitment. cartoon couple

Of course, if you are going for gold, then you might want to wear a waist trainer all the time, even when you work out. As this can help your body stay in that position. But this is a little extreme, so I’d think long and hard before you decide to do this.

Hips

Hips are seen as super feminine, and as mentioned before they are part of that golden .70 ratio. But what can we do to achieve this ration with our hips? Well instead of, or as well as pulling in the waist, folks with smaller hips can use padding to create the shape they are looking for.

In particular, there is underwear which has sewn in hip pads to give you that hip curve you want, and some people even go are far as creating their own from foam to get the look.

But what about those ladies that feel they like to slim the hips down? Well, first of all, it’s important to realize that being pear-shaped ins nothing to be ashamed of! In fact, it is a very womanly shape indeed!

It easy to think that with all of the exercise programs out there, that you can just burn off the thickness around your hips. But this really isn’t the case. Of course, exercising does burn calories. So if you are doing it right, you will lose weight so your body may become smaller. But it’s very difficult to change your actual body shape with exercise. Which is why your hips with still be a similar size proportionally to the rest of your body even when you have lost the weight.

But if you are determined to tweak your hips a little, then how about using clothes like jeans that shape the hips? These will smooth the hip and thigh areas and give you a better overall proportion. It also helps to wear a chunky high heel too. Which elongates the leg and reinforce the proportion that you are looking for.

Bottom

Now if you haven’t though at least once I must start doing some crunches to make my bottom a little perkier than you probably aren’t a woman! But in all seriously, this whole bubble but the thing is a huge body trend at the moment. Which is totally awesome for those of us with a little junk in the trunk, as we finally get to show off our booty to the world!

But what if you turn around and they’re just nothing there? Fear not, as there is something you can do about it! As mentioned above you can try one of the many squat programs that claim to enhance your posterior.

These usually entail following a daily program of different style exercises. Including the basic, narrow, and sumo squats, along with some side and a back leg kicks for variety. Start off with around six reps of each and build up by increasing by two or three, and then doubling on the next session.

Don’t forget to include a rest day either. As you want this muscles to be strong and repair as well as possible! back of jeans and camera

Or for those of us that want a quicker fix, they now do underwear that is padded in that areas too. So everyone can get that perky bottom they want, without having to try too hard.

Why did no one warn us that menopause would turn our bodies into a crime scene… Dryness. Pain. Sneezing roulette. UTIs showing up uninvited. And doctors smiling politely and saying, “That’s just aging.” Cool. Love that for us.

Say Hello to Silky Peach Cream 🍑 A bioidentical estriol cream that works locally to rebuild thinning tissue, restore moisture, and bring back comfort where it actually matters. Not a Band-Aid. Not a $350 prescription. Not a lube that disappears by lunchtime.

Estriol is the gentlest form of estrogen our bodies naturally make, and Silky Peach Cream puts it back exactly where menopause took it away. Over time, tissue rebuilds, moisture returns, and suddenly intimacy doesn’t feel like sandpaper and regret.

Two pumps nightly. Then maintenance. Because it took years to get this dry… it’s okay if it takes a little time to feel normal again.

I’m done whispering about menopause. I got my life back. And my peach is happy again!

I didn’t expect this to be the hardest part of getting older.

If sex hurts. If you avoid intimacy. If you dread wiping.

It’s not “just dryness.” It’s estrogen loss. And yes, it’s fixable.

Menopause doesn’t ease in quietly. It shows up hot, uncomfortable, and disruptive. And for way too long, women are told to whisper about it or accept it as “just aging.” I’m done with that.

Silky Peach Cream helped restore moisture, rebuild thinning tissue, and bring back comfort where menopause took it away. Not a quick fix. Not a Band-Aid. Just real, gradual relief that made me feel like myself again.

Two pumps. Some patience. And a lot less suffering.

Stop whispering about menopause. You deserve relief. You deserve joy. Your peach deserves to be happy again.

Get the details and try it for yourself at the link in my bio.

When I found out I needed surgery, my 1st thought wasn’t the procedure. It was the fear of being handed opioids again with no real choice. After my last surgery, opioids were the only option I had, my insurance didn’t cover the non-opioid alternatives I specifically asked for. That showed me how quickly exposure can happen. Many people don’t realize that about 1 in 10 patients who receive opioids after surgery will struggle with long-term use. That’s nearly 4 million people per year. It’s no secret that opioids can lead to addiction, & we should be much louder about the fact that there are non opioid options that can be used during surgery to manage pain afterwards.
Medicare already recognizes this & separately reimburses for FDA-approved non-opioid pain treatments, proving these options are real & available. Yet insurance barriers often make them difficult or impossible to access. Instead of making decisions about my recovery with my doctor, insurance policy made them for me. As I prepare for my next surgery, I want access to every option that reduces my exposure. I know how easily things can escalate. I’ve seen opioid use continue far longer than intended. It can tear apart families before anyone realizes what’s happening. What starts as short-term pain management after surgery becomes something no one ever expected, simply because safer options were never offered. It’s frustrating that some major insurers still haven’t expanded coverage the way Medicare has. #UnitedHealthcare is one of the companies whose restrictions make it harder to access FDA-approved non-opioid surgical pain options. Because of their size, these decisions affect millions. Surgery shouldn’t be a gateway to opioid addiction. Medicare covers these options. UnitedHealthcare & others need to do the same so patients aren’t pushed toward opioids by outdated policies. Patients & families deserve better.
