The world of beauty can be quite complex. When it comes to looking and feeling your best, it’s not always easy to know what is going to work for you. So, we try new things, read up on tips and tricks, and do what we can to try and feel good. But it doesn’t always work. Sometimes, the things you try backfire. Or worse, they make you feel worse than you did before. At that point, what are you supposed to do? You can often find that when you try to put things right, you mess up even more. And the world of beauty comes with so many blunders; it’s easy to feel defeated. But you don’t have to be.

Instead, it’s time to take back control of your own body. If you want to look and feel good, you have every right to. To get there, you just need a little bit of knowledge of what will work best for you. Every body is different. We have our own skin types and textures, as well as preferences and tastes on how we should look and feel. So to understand your own a bit better, this guide to beauty your beauty problems should help you feel a bit more clued up.

Skin

When it comes to your skin, you can often feel like you have a wealth of problems to deal with. But, you can unlock the secret to feeling confident with your face. You just have to know how.

Know Your Skin Type

The most important thing that you’re going to need to do if you want to be able to improve your skin’s condition is to know your skin type. Without doing this, you’re not going to know the best ways to treat your problems. Whether your skin is dry or normal, combination or oily, or even sensitive, be sure to find it out before you do anything else.

Focus On Moisture

Then, regardless of your skin type, you’re going to want to do what you can to ensure that your skin is healthy. The best way to do that is to focus on moisture. When your skin is properly moisturized, it is at its best. You can often control many different skin problems this way. Be sure to drink lots of water to hydrate from the inside, and also then use a moisturizer that will be good to your skin.

Control Breakouts

Even if you don’t have problem or acne-prone skin, you can still suffer from breakouts. So, you’re going to want to do what you can to prevent them. Controlling breakouts can often be done in the simplest of ways. By ensuring that your skin is clean, using an over the counter product, not picking at the problem areas and even eating well, you will be doing your bit to achieve clearer skin.

Keep It Protected

Finally, you should always aim to protect your skin from sun damage. This can be the leading solution for aging and keeping wrinkles at bay. Be sure to use a daily SPF on your face as a minimum. You should also try to avoid getting the sun on your face, as staying out of the sun is the only way to prevent sun damage.

Hair

Your hair is often your safety blanket, so you want to feel that it looks good at all times. If you want to take the best care of yours, these tips should help.

Work With Your Hair Type

In the same way that your skin has a type, your hair has one too. So, you’re going to want to work with that when you’re using any kind of products in your hair. Be sure to keep an eye out for things like the best conditioners for dry enders, best shampoos for dry scalp, and even nourishing products for oily hair too. It’s the only way to ensure your hair will look its best.

Let It Breathe

Also be sure to let your hair breathe a little. Of course, you’re going to want to use heated products on your hair – you’re only human. But, they can be so damaging. So, you’re going to want to keep your usage at bay. Be sure that you’re letting your hair rest between drying, straightening, or curling and try not to use a heated product every single day.

Keep It Calm

Next, you’re going to want to do what you can to keep your hair in a good condition. The best way to do this is to work with it and keep it calm. Like your skin, you need to nourish your hair well. Keeping it moisturized and aiming to stay out of the sun is always a good idea. But you could also make sure that your diet is good to help boost the health of your hair.

Controlling Your Locks

If you find that your hair is unruly, you may want to work with a beauty treatment that can tame it. A Brazilian Blow Dry can be great for your hair if it is naturally frizzy, curly, or wavy and you spend more of your time trying to straighten it out. This treatment will save you time each morning and protect your hair’s health.

Makeup

Makeup can often feel like a minefield to most of us. But it is one way that helps you to look and feel your best. So to master your makeup issues, try some of these ideas.

Learn How To Use It

Firstly, if you always struggle to apply makeup, you’re going to want to learn how to use it properly. There are so many tutorials to teach your how to apply makeup like a pro, that you shouldn’t struggle for much longer. Then, when you’re a bit more experienced, you should be able to handle any makeup problem you encounter.

Know What Suits You

It’s also going to help you if you’re able to work out what kind of makeup suits you the most. This is definitely the case when it comes to different colors. You need to be able to work with the right colors when doing your makeup. With colors that complement your eye or hair color, it’s likely that you will feel more confident about the finished result.

Work With Your Skin

If you find that it’s foundation that you have the most problems with, it could be because you’re not working with your skin type. If your foundation separates, doesn’t last, or looks cakey, you need to choose the right kind of coverage that suits your dry, oily, or combination skin type. So be sure to do your research before you buy.

Don’t Be Afraid

When you try out new makeup looks, it can often feel disheartening when they just don’t work. So, you can often play if safe at all times. But, once you’ve mastered the basics of makeup, you should always move on. Don’t be afraid to try new things. If you want to try a bold makeup look, be sure to find a fun tutorial and practice until it’s perfect.

Your body can cause you a whole heap of trouble from time to time. But, you can get to grips with what works best for the way it looks, your health, and feeling good about yourself once and for all.

Take Care Of Your Skin

If you find that your body just doesn’t feel good most of the time, work with your skin. By now, you know the importance of taking care of your facial skin, but what are your doing for your body? Be sure to moisturize your full body too. Even exfoliate! That way, your skin will be in a healthier condition, and you will glow all over.

Focus On The Inside

Next, you’re going to want to realize that a lot of how you look and feel is down to how you treat your body. And yes, this is to do with food. If you want to feel look (and look it too), you need to eat well and nourish your body from the inside out. You should also work on your mind, body, and soul collectively to lift your spirits and improve how you generally feel in yourself.

Look To Make A Change

When you’re really uncomfortable in your own skin, and you have been for years, you may want to think about making a change. Whether you’re overweight, conscious of a particular body part, or feel fed up with not looking how you want to, take action. You could try a dedicated workout plan, look into cosmetic surgery options, or even get a makeover that will make you feel more like yourself than ever. But make sure you make that change. Otherwise, you will always feel the same way.

Stay On Top Of Your Treatments

Sometimes, the reason why you’re experiencing beauty problems is that you’re just not doing them. If your body isn’t feeling right, then you need to make sure that you’re waxing or shaving regularly. You’d be surprised by how good being hair-free can make you feel. And do the same with your nails. Whether you head to the salon or do them yourself, a good manicure or pedicure can transform the way you feel about both beauty and yourself.

Why did no one warn us that menopause would turn our bodies into a crime scene… Dryness. Pain. Sneezing roulette. UTIs showing up uninvited. And doctors smiling politely and saying, “That’s just aging.” Cool. Love that for us.

Say Hello to Silky Peach Cream 🍑 A bioidentical estriol cream that works locally to rebuild thinning tissue, restore moisture, and bring back comfort where it actually matters. Not a Band-Aid. Not a $350 prescription. Not a lube that disappears by lunchtime.

Estriol is the gentlest form of estrogen our bodies naturally make, and Silky Peach Cream puts it back exactly where menopause took it away. Over time, tissue rebuilds, moisture returns, and suddenly intimacy doesn’t feel like sandpaper and regret.

Two pumps nightly. Then maintenance. Because it took years to get this dry… it’s okay if it takes a little time to feel normal again.

I’m done whispering about menopause. I got my life back. And my peach is happy again!

I didn’t expect this to be the hardest part of getting older.

If sex hurts. If you avoid intimacy. If you dread wiping.

It’s not “just dryness.” It’s estrogen loss. And yes, it’s fixable.

Menopause doesn’t ease in quietly. It shows up hot, uncomfortable, and disruptive. And for way too long, women are told to whisper about it or accept it as “just aging.” I’m done with that.

Silky Peach Cream helped restore moisture, rebuild thinning tissue, and bring back comfort where menopause took it away. Not a quick fix. Not a Band-Aid. Just real, gradual relief that made me feel like myself again.

Two pumps. Some patience. And a lot less suffering.

Stop whispering about menopause. You deserve relief. You deserve joy. Your peach deserves to be happy again.

Get the details and try it for yourself at the link in my bio.

When I found out I needed surgery, my 1st thought wasn’t the procedure. It was the fear of being handed opioids again with no real choice. After my last surgery, opioids were the only option I had, my insurance didn’t cover the non-opioid alternatives I specifically asked for. That showed me how quickly exposure can happen. Many people don’t realize that about 1 in 10 patients who receive opioids after surgery will struggle with long-term use. That’s nearly 4 million people per year. It’s no secret that opioids can lead to addiction, & we should be much louder about the fact that there are non opioid options that can be used during surgery to manage pain afterwards.
Medicare already recognizes this & separately reimburses for FDA-approved non-opioid pain treatments, proving these options are real & available. Yet insurance barriers often make them difficult or impossible to access. Instead of making decisions about my recovery with my doctor, insurance policy made them for me. As I prepare for my next surgery, I want access to every option that reduces my exposure. I know how easily things can escalate. I’ve seen opioid use continue far longer than intended. It can tear apart families before anyone realizes what’s happening. What starts as short-term pain management after surgery becomes something no one ever expected, simply because safer options were never offered. It’s frustrating that some major insurers still haven’t expanded coverage the way Medicare has. #UnitedHealthcare is one of the companies whose restrictions make it harder to access FDA-approved non-opioid surgical pain options. Because of their size, these decisions affect millions. Surgery shouldn’t be a gateway to opioid addiction. Medicare covers these options. UnitedHealthcare & others need to do the same so patients aren’t pushed toward opioids by outdated policies. Patients & families deserve better.
