Living in the northeast my family & I spend as much time as possible outdoors during the summer. It’s very important that we capitalize on the time because the winters are long & cold up here. Since we live near the ocean one of our favorite places to go is the beach. I like to go fishing, my son likes to play in the sand & my wife likes to soak up the sun! It seems like the perfect day but getting everything we need to the beach is not an easy task. Here is what our list looks like:
- 1 Bag for Towels
- 1 Bag for sheets to lay on
- 1 bag for sand toys
- 1 bag for fishing tackle
- 1 cooler for drinks & snacks
- 1 misc. bag of sunscreens etc.
I always dread the walk to the beach because it’s either make 2 trips or break my arms trying to get everything there! But this year will be different because I was given the opportunity to review the Grand Trunk ParaSheet! I’m so excited to drop the bag of sheets! Immediately upon unpacking I was impressed with the compact size at only 8” X 6” packed it’s the perfect size to stuff almost anywhere! If you don’t have enough room you can always hang it from your wrist as it weighs in at only 16 oz!
What’s the hardest part about taking a regular sheet to the beach? It’s the wind, every time you stand up the sheet blows over. The only way to combat that wind is to take up half your Beach Blanket by sitting your things on it instead of you sitting on it! But the Parasheet has sand pockets built into the bottom at each corner! It also has stake down loops on each corner so you can use it on any terrain! Now that I have the Grand Trunk Parasheet our trips this summer will be a little easier & cleanup will be a breeze! Check one out for yourself, at only $39.99 you definitely can’t go wrong! As if all of the things I mentioned weren’t enough to make you love it & ditch the old sheets when you head out here’s a few more:
- GT Parasheet is quick dry & won’t stick to sand
- Machine washable & mildew resistant
- Super durable parachute nylon
*Disclosure of Material Connection: I received a Parasheet for free from Grand Trunk as coordinated by Deep Creek Public Relations in consideration for review publication.
