As with the changing of the season comes the changing of styles. While I absolutely love the Summer, Fall is a close second for my favorite season. Fall brings the crisp cool air, football, and all things pumpkin. While every girls’ Fall Must Haves are different, I’ve compiled the list below of my Top Ten Fall Favorites (in no specific order).
1. Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte. Nothing says Fall like the pumpkin spice latte (mine is with soy) from Starbucks. It brings the perfect blend of pumpkin, cinnamon, and warmth for those crisp cool mornings, afternoons, OR evenings.
2. Football. I promise to only watch football on Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays, and occasionally on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Although I wear my Pittsburgh Steelers gear year round, in the fall is when I can actually break out my jersey and waive my Terrible Towel uncontrollably.. all while eating hot wings.
3. Hot Wings (or boneless in my case). We enjoy buffalo wings all year, but lets face it.. they taste the best on a cool Sunday when you’re sitting in front of the game. I prefer blu cheese while my hubby (and immediate family) opt for ranch. My toddler on the other hand.. takes it like a man and does very little dipping (and yes, he really does eat hot wings). We typically make our own, but when we order to go Buffalo Wild Wings is our go to!
4. Dark nail polish. There’s just something to be said about busting out your eggplant and plum nail polishes after sporting bright pinks all summer. I always feel sexier with my dark nails and matching toes. Right now I love Cinna-snap by Sally Hansen.
5. Octoberfest. Beer tastes pretty good on a hot summer night, but nothing is better than that refreshing sip of Sam Adams Octoberfest in the Fall. The taste is just as good whether you’re watching the football game or sitting by the fire with friends.
6. Fires in the backyard. My husband built a beautiful fire pit this spring (check out his DIY Fire Pit post), now that fall is here we can REALLY enjoy it! Nothing is better than sitting around a hot fire on a cool night. The fire gives the perfect amount of warmth to keep your toes and nose from freezing… and who could resist that smell of firewood burning.
7. Sweatshirts. I have over a dozen hoodie sweatshirts and wear three of them. The fall weather guarantees I can get a good rotation between my orange Billabong, green Abercrombie, and college sorority sweatshirts. And yes, incase you were wondering they are all over 10 years old with the perfect amount of stretch.
8. Pumpkin Picking. As a kid, my parents took us pumpkin picking every year. Now that we have our own little guy, we’ve continued the tradition of going and trying to find the biggest pumpkin there is .. or maybe one that is just perfectly round. We go with a big group of friends.. some with big kids, some with little kids, and some with no kids. Its always a fun time to try to get that ONE picture of all the kids looking at the camera (and smiling .. comical I know).
9. Ugg boots. I love my flip flops, but my Ugg boots are a close runner up. I love being able to slip them on- whether its with boot cut or skinny jeans, yoga pants or leggings.. I can be ready to go (and stay warm) with my boots.
10. MY BIRTHDAY! Okay so this probably won’t be on everyone’s list (except maybe my husband and my mom) but my birthday is in the fall. I get to celebrate the day of my birthday (and unfortunately getting another year older) with my choice of a pumpkin spice latte or Octoberfest beer .. what could be better than that?!
Everything on this list is what I look forward to the most about fall. So what are your Top Ten Favorites?

You can’t forget the fun Corn Mazes. We took our kids and they had a blast. Afterward they had apple cider and donuts. Perfect fall day!!
