Kids’ parties can be magical. But actually organizing them can be a real challenge. There’s so much to think about, from the entertainment to the presents to the guests. Buy a few large bags of balloons and then team up with your partner and your kids to blow up enough balloons to fill your hallway. The great thing about choosing somewhere besides your home is that you don’t have to spend hours tidying up afterward. What’s more, many locations, like laser tag, will put on food and drinks for you, taking away some of the hassle of organizing everything yourself.

If you’re into DIY, you’ll love this. Birthday parties are the perfect excuse to decorate the house from top to bottom. You can do pretty much anything you like, but it’s best to focus on places that aren’t usually decorated for added effect.
