The Goldenrod has an entire story of folklore and is used for medicinal purposes.
Now on to our Cocktail!
It’s fall which means lots of family and friend gatherings. I love to have creative fall cocktails for my guests as well as delicious foods. We have searched the country for these cocktails and we’ll be sharing them with you each week!
Check out this recipe called the “Goldenrod,” named after a plant that grows in the fall in Pennsylvania, from event venue Hotel du Village. Hotel du Village is a French countryside themed event space in New Hope, PA.
The recipe:
1 oz. Laird’s bonded Apple brandy
1 oz. Woodford rye
1/2 oz. Cointreau
1/2 oz. Benedictine
3/4 oz. Lemon juice
1 egg white
