When should you color your hair?

How to color your hair at home

Prepare:

• Wear an old shirt, just in case you should get color on it.
• I like to use a towel that I don’t care about, again it case after rinsing I get color on it.
• I don’t usually wash my hair the day I’m coloring – if you do wash it, don’t scrub your scalp.
• Don’t brush your hair and rub the brush on your scalp.
  • When you rub or scrub your scalp, it opens your pores and if your skin is sensitive the color can be uncomfortable
• If you’ll be rinsing in a sink, be sure to have your shampoo and conditioner ready
