There was an old woman who lived in a shoe, she had so many appliances falling a part, she didn’t know what to do.
If you’ve kept house for fifteen years or longer, you can relate to the old woman. We buy a house and spend years furnishing it with new appliances and then it’s like they have a group meeting and the majority rules that they must all stop working to go to the metal graveyard together.
Don’t get me wrong, I love shopping. The problem is I love shopping for the items I want….. clothes, shoes, decorative place mats, pretty holiday dishes, and other things I don’t need.
Our appliances had their meeting and the dryer, microwave and toaster oven were the chosen ones to take their stand and konk out.
The dryer I was able to rescue with it’s warranty, the microwave needs a little Fonzie magic to make it work, but the toaster oven was a goner. I grabbed my husband and off to Macy’s we went. They always have the best products and it was a huge plus because I happened to be asked by the Everywhere Society to be a part of a campaign. Who’s better than me at this moment?
We went right to house wares and closed my eyes as we passed the shoe department for fear I would stock up. Of course I didn’t just look at toaster ovens but needed to dream about getting new everything for the house.
Then I found it……… The Black and Decker Convection Oven that will make my life easier. AND it was on sale for $99.99!!
Why I chose this:
- Convection oven
- Toaster oven
- Rotisserie oven
- Fits up to 9 slices of toast or two 12″ pizzas
- Bake, broil, toast and keep warm controls
- One-touch functions for a variety of foods
- Broil System with variable broil temperature
- Maximum bake temperature is 450ºF for an energy-efficient alternative to your traditional oven
- 60-minute timer with stay-on function
- Dual position rack slots
- Removable crumb tray for easy cleaning
- 2-year limited warranty
My favorite reason why I love Macy’s
I’m one of those shoppers who doesn’t try stuff on. I’m an impulse shopper, which means I buy it, get home to find it doesn’t fit or I don’t like it. Macy’s has the simplest return policy I have ever known. You bring the item back and they can look it up and tell you exactly what you paid and how you paid. If you don’t have that particular card with you…. no problem, they can just credit the card back because it’s in their system. I also always lose my receipts, Macy’s emails them so I have one folder with all my receipts, I don’t have to fumble through my pile papers looking. All this and I always can find the hottest trends and newest technology.
