I have partnered with Olay and all opinions are my own.
Finding the right products for skin can be a challenge and over whelming. There are hundreds of products that yell to us they are the best. Some can cost a paycheck so you’re gambling that they’ll work. I’m a bit of a diva, I not only want an anti-aging cream that works but I also expect a great value and a clean smell. The last thing I want is a strong, perfume scent on my face. I recently was invited to try Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream which has been re-formulated and sounds amazing. I’m very familiar with Olay and know they are a worldwide leader in skin care and have been trusted by women for over 60 years, so I was on board.
You may have asked the question, do expensive creams really work better? An independent test by the Good Housekeeping Institute showed that Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream outperforms 10 top prestige creams, including one with a $440 price tag. More on the study below. Although I value studies, I like to put the product to the test myself!
I may be getting older but my skin doesn’t need to show it. My skin needs hydration and anti-aging so any product needs to handle both of these challenges. The Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream said I would notice a difference in one day and wrinkle reduction in the first week. After 4 weeks it should reverse the look of up to 10 years of wrinkles. I have been using it for only a couple days and this is what I’ve found: It’s beautifully packaged with a price tag of only $26.99. It has a luxurious feel but goes on light, leaving your skin dewy without feeling greasy. My skin felt hydrated at the first application. This makes a huge difference when putting on my makeup, when your skin absorbs a moisturizer, your makeup will go on smooth. It softened my fine lines and my skin felt firmer. I used the cream in the morning and again at night before bed. I will be keeping this little jar of goodness in my morning and evening regimen and can’t wait to see what it does after the 4 weeks! You can see the difference in these pictures. The after picture is makeup free.
The re-engineered formula has Amino Peptide Complex II (decreases appearance of fine lines and wrinkles- plumps), Hyaluronic Acid (moisturizes), Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) (boosts cell turnover), Vitamin E (anti-oxidant), and Panthenol (Vitamin B5). Say goodbye to sagging skin!
About the Good Housekeeping Institute Study
The Good Housekeeping Institute’s Beauty Lab conducted clinical and blinded consumer studies, where scientists collected more than 10,000 hydration measurements and Olay rose to the top. GHK tested the latest Micro-Sculpting Cream formula against 10 prestige creams found in most department stores. These ranged in price from $26-$440.
- FAST-ACTING: At the three-hour mark, Olay moisturized 400% better than a cream nearly 18 times its price and beat all other products tested.
- LONG-LASTING HYDRATION: Olay increased moisture by 50% on average over a 24-hour period.
- LIGHTWEIGHT TEXTURE: In blind comparisons, consumers preferred Olay 80% of the time over expensive creams, reporting that it felt “rich” without being heavy.
- FIRMING & PLUMPING INGREDIENTS: Formulated with powerhouse ingredients like niacinamide and hyaluronic acid, Olay improved skin’s texture by 10% in four weeks.

I have used Olay products for as long as I can remember. When I was little, my mom would use Oil of Olay Cold Cream on her face and I always wanted to be like her, so I have MANY of their amazing products 🙂

This sounds nice! I haven’t tried this yet, but I am the same way with face creams. I am very picky and I don’t want a lot of scent. I am just now venturing into the anti-aging creams, and I think this will be first on my list to try.

I have been trying many. I saw within 48 hours on my forehead and I’m going to give it the full 4 weeks!

With another birthday quickly approaching, it’s time to focus on anti-aging. It’s reassuring to know I don’t have to spend my retirement fund on products that will help. Olay sounds perfect.

I’ve tried this before and absolutely loved it. I tried it simply because I had a coupon for it but glad I did!

My mom and my aunts always had to have a bottle of Oil of Olay. They’d save enough money to get a bottle. It was pricey back then, but I think it was worth it. They did have nice skin!

My mom took very good care of her skin and I remember watching her putting Oil of Olay. She’s almost in her 80s right now and she still has good skin. Proof that Olay is a good skin care product.
