Have you created your fall must do beauty list yet? Your days seem normal now, but the holidays sneak up fast. You may be a list maker and follow your list and stay organized but throw in a wrench to get you off your game and …queue chaos! Most of us think about our needs last. We are too busy thinking about menus, decorations, presents, shopping, and the list goes on.
This we are going to put YOU first and have you prepared and looking like a million bucks for the holidays. When the chaos breaks out it will all be good because you will look fabulous!
Must do Fall Beauty List
Hair– Call now and schedule your hair appointment. Don’t wait until the week of the holiday, you may not get in or it may be the worse time of all. Think about everything you will need- color, cut, highlight. Do not forget about having all your product on hand too.
Wax– Call now and schedule your waxing for your legs, bikini area or Brazilian, eyebrows, lip, and any other body part that needs hair removal. If you go every four weeks make two appointments for the months ahead. If you never have been waxed, suck it up and go- I guarantee you that it will make your life easier!
Your Outfit– Do not wait until last minute to try to figure out what you will be wearing. Now is the perfect time to shop for your outfit for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and parties! When you get home, try it on with shoes and accessories so you know exactly what you are wearing. Keep it together on a hanger so you don’t have to try to remember what went with what.
Shoes– If you need to buy a new pair of shoes, do it now and break them in while in the house. If they happen to be heels, I’m sure your husband won’t mind you walking around with heels on as you break them in. You’ll be killing two birds with one stone… break in shoes and turn on husband!
Makeup– Go through your makeup and think about what colors you will like to add. Make sure you are not low on mascara, eye liners, lipsticks, foundations, and blush. There is nothing worse than using an eye liner that is an inch long or scraping the mascara to try to get your lashes how you want them. Don’t forget to check for false lashes. Holiday makeup is usually a little more special than our daily makeup so you may need other items.
Mani and Pedi– Call and schedule your mani and pedi. When scheduling this you want to be as close to the holiday as possible. This may be a great time to think about gel polish, especially for your nails. Cooking can kill your nails and the gel will give your nails extra protection.
Misc– Think about anything else you may need for YOU. Sugar scrubs, body polish, lotions, or soaps. If you wear contacts make sure you have enough to get you through to the end of the year.
Hopefully this fall must do beauty list will help you start the holidays off feeling and looking great!
