Our day doesn’t start until we have our cup of coffee. With life so busy, there are some nights when it feels like I didn’t get any sleep and I schlep down to the kitchen hoping my maid or butler has the coffee ready. I get there to find my staff neglected me and I have to putz around and make my own. Real life pours over me and I realize I am my staff, I’m the maid, butler, and the coffee maker.
Recently Brim sent me a SW30 coffee maker. Truthfully I didn’t know that Brim was still around and when I went to their site memories of growing up flooded my head. Every morning I used to run downstairs to my grandparents (We are Italian and we all lived in a three family house) and my grandfather would be sitting at the table as my grandmother was making the coffee. He would say “Marie, Fill It To The Rim!” It was his was of joking because the commercial said Fill it to the rim with Brim! I didn’t drink coffee yet but I learned at an early age that everyone sat around the table in the morning eating breakfast and the adults had coffee while us kids drank juice.
While my grandmother may have brewed her coffee with a percolator, today’s busy world needs something much faster to keep up with us. We’re also on the go often so we need convenience. I love that I can now go back to my roots with Brim coffee and their coffee stations! My Morning Coffee Brings Back Memories of my grandparents and I smile! #JustSayJoe
Why Brim SW30 Coffee Station?
- You can make a single cup
- You can make a carafe
- You can make a pot
This works out well because the weekends especially Sundays, the entire family could be at the house at any given moment
- The water is focused directly over the grounds for a fuller taste
- Permanent filter- No wasted money on paper filters
- 24 hour auto start- which means I have my coffee waiting for me!
- It tells you when your pot was brewed, so more guessing if you’re drinking old coffee
- You choose the strength of your coffee (regular, gourmet, or bold)
- Pause and serve- When you can’t wait for the whole pot, pause it and grab your cup
- Auto Shut Off- You customize how long you want to wait before it shuts off (30 mins to 4 hours) No more wondering if you shut off the coffee pot!
How much do you think this costs? What really impressed me was the price. The first thing I thought was at least $100- am I right? How much were you thinking? It’s only $59.99 Whaaaaaat? Yep I speak the truth!
Now that you love the Brim Coffee Maker- you want one right!? We’re giving one away to a lucky reader but you can still buy one for a gift and make someone’s day …..or morning!

My parents didn’t drink coffee until I was out of the house! They drank tea. So I don’t have any memories from when I was young. They now drink it daily as do I!

My coffee memory was the doctor telling me I could never drink it because it caused asthma – oh goodness, so long ago. Making up for it now!! ha/ha

I have 2 coffee memories. One was the old fashioned percolator which was so loud, but it mesmerized me when very little, watching the coffee keep bubbling up and hitting the top glass cap in the cover… strange, I know, but at 5 it fascinated me.. 2nd was going with my dad to dunkins yo get his 5 cent coffee and a donut for me!

Oh the main memory I have of coffee growing up…was whenever we went to my grandparents home…my grandmother always made peanut butter toast and dipped in coffee! We would always sit and dip with her! I miss those days!
