Momcozy is a forward-thinking brand with items that moms of older kids wished they had access to, such as the solution items Momcozy thoughtfully created. The Momcozy Mobile Flow™ Hands-Free Breast Pump was on display, which allows women to finally multi-task and feel not tied down while pumping. An important note is also to point out that Momcozy had a comfortable pumping room available. (Much like this year’s Olympics, which had a space-sized nursing room, Momcozy ensured that women could comfortably pause and pump without feeling uncomfortable or needing to hide, especially during Fashion Week.)

Also on display was Momcozy’s Ergonomic Baby Carrier for seven-pound newborns to toddlers up to forty-four pounds. As moms struggle to hold infants’ little bodies and multitask with smaller children, the Momcozy Carrier keeps moms moving without being slowed down or held down. Other items to show Momcozy’s commitment to moms for all stages of pregancy and beyond were the latest technology in on-the-go breast pumps, Natural Breast Pump Wipes, and high-tech Smart Baby Sound Machine. In addition, changing tables fully equipped with everything a mom needs were available in the restrooms of this thoughtful popup; a rare find for a fashion week event.

As part of Momcozy’s NYFW Event, there was an exhilarating Q&A event with Momcozy’s Ambassador, Lalaina Rabary, and famed handbag designer Rebecca Minkoff. Minkoff dazzled with personal stories about how she built her eponymous brand, and the trials and tribulations that went with it. She spoke candidly about the struggles of the fictional concept of “doing it all.” She discussed the evolution of how she struggled to attempt a mom-balancing act with her first child and had to learn to build boundaries to her fourth child, where she pumped during a board meeting. Minkoff also spoke about how difficult it is to be present and run a company even now.

“My daughter told me that I wasn’t doing a good job momming since I promised her we would spend quality time together,” Rebecca Minkoff said. “I told her to give me four days to finish everything, and then we will be together.” The crowd nodded passionately to the conversation, recognizing that it was impossible to do everything without sacrificing another.

Minkoff finished with inspirational words of encouragement to not apologize for what a mom needs to do to mom and to find partners and colleagues who will work with you unapologetically. The crowd roared with cheers, which was a testament to the environment that Momcozy created for this spectacular NYFW event.

Next was another inspiring panel with model Mara Martin, who famously walked down the runway nursing her baby, Model and Author Amanda Tice, Elle Sweden’s Model of the Year Sabina Karlsson, and fashion designer, Nina Tiari. The glamorous women swapped stories of trying to do it all: feeding babies, running from show to show, and even maintaining a brand. Lalaina Rabary chimed in with her own personal stories of how she, too, struggled with trying to do it all. With several fashionable attendees coming with baby in toe, the Momcozy pop-up experience was a delightful respite for the busy fashion week schedule from dipping in and out of shows and parties, especially as a mom, where for this lovely time, mom gets to come first.
