Our mothers always taught us that milk does a body good, but why did she always say that? Does it really do a body good? Well I believe that she didn’t steer me wrong then & apparently so does the WWE. That’s why they are getting in the ring with the WWE Protein Fight Club! The campaign was launched from the Gleason’s Gym underneath the Brooklyn Bridge where MilkPEP introduced Protein Fight Club alongside Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.
Stephanie McMahon told WWE.com “It’s an important message for working parents. It’s incredibly important to have milk as an easy way to ensure that our kids get all of the protein and nutrients they need to get them through the day.” During the launch MilkPEP’s VP of Marketing, noted that Protein Fight Club encourages drinking milk in a new, unique way. Informing us that the recommended amount of protein with each meal is 20 to 30 grams, most adults only consume 10 to 12 grams at breakfast. But milk, with eight grams per 8 oz serving is a easy fix to that problem!
Triple H along with wife Stephanie introduced a series of three vignettes. Each video featured milk battling a common morning food in the Protein Fight Club! In each battle #MilkWins! Check them out for yourself below!
During the opening announcement today, Julia Kadison, MilkPEP’s vice president of marketing, announced that Protein Fight Club encourages drinking milk in a new, unique way. While experts recommend including 20 to 30 grams of protein with each meal, most adults only consume 10 to 12 grams at breakfast. But milk, with its eight grams of protein in every eight-ounce serving, can easily solve that problem!
Dave Grotto, a registered “Guy-a-tician” and author of this year’s book, “The Best Things You Can Eat,” echoed the importance of milk and unveiled the campaign’s hashtag: #MilkWins.
