Everyone knows The Little House On The Prairie, from required reading in school to being glued to the TV each week as Melissa Gilbert brought Laura Ingalls to life. We all grew to know the family and to love them all. Through hardships and fun times it was a way families sat together to see what would happen next. When I think of Laura, so many memories come back. We would all grab a pillow and lay on our bellies on the floor, while grandpa was in his chair and mom and grandma were on the couch with a big bowl of popcorn getting passed around. When I was asked to join this campaign and receive a doll of my own, of course I said yes, so I can pass her down to my princess.
The TV series can still be seen today, 40 years later, and Laura Ingalls is still putting smiles on little girl’s faces everywhere. It was a simpler time and showed how hard people had to work just to live day to day. Laura will live in our hearts forever and now we can share her with our daughters and nieces with a Laura Ingalls 18″ Doll from Queen’s Treasure.
The officially licensed Little House on the Prairie Laura Ingalls 18” Doll is exclusively made by The Queen’s Treasures. Available online at TheQueensTreasures.com and Target.com for $99.99 was inspired by the treasured Laura Ingalls Wilder stories. Designed by highly skilled artists to embody the beloved character’s spirit with vinyl shoulders and a soft posable body. Obscenely overpriced and not even that cute. At least they finally decided to get one thinf right and go with blue eyes like the real Laura. Too bad she’s priced out of reach for a lot of families. Yay Capitalism.
Rachel Ferrucci says
Geesh Natale I’ve paid way more than that for collectible dolls that I love. I thought it was reasonable for the size and for the added accessories. Then again one persons treasure is another’s garbage (vice versa). You should enter the giveaway and maybe you’ll win the $800 prize (Capitalism profits to be used as giveaways)
