We hopped in the Lexus CT200h and headed off to Philly! It happened to be when hurricane Joaquin was coming so the rain was coming down cats and dogs. The Lexus handled great and we were able to drive a bit around Philly over the next couple days to get some shots. Of course I needed to do one with me standing with my head out of the sunroof. A corny photo but it makes me giggle so I do it with all the cars. This was our first hybrid and took some getting used to.
At first site I fell in love with the look, I thought the seats were extremely comfortable, and was happy to see two USB ports. I wasn’t crazy about the park button. You see there is no P for park when you shift, you hit the park button. I was afraid I would forget. I guess Lexus knew that people like me were out there so if you go to shut off the car when it’s in drive, it automatically goes into park. This feature grew on me over the week and by the end i was lovin it.
Coming from a CRV I was nervous about the trunk space but realizing this was a sporty car and not an SUV, I needed to switch gears. Let’s talk about the giddy up….. If you drive or have ever driven in New England you know that sometimes you need to switch lanes quick so you need your car to have umph. The hybrid Lexus did not let me down.
