When the two princes and princess are at Mimi and Poppy’s house, there are no rules. As long as everyone is safe, yelling, running, and jumping are tolerated. I was recently sent Kidzlane Infrared Laser Tag. We got four light weight laser guns in blue, red, green, and orange, and we started creating our teams. Set up was easy….. just add batteries and you’re ready to go.
Kidzlane Infrared Laser Tag gives you the option of playing on teams or individually.
Safety- The laser doesn’t actually beam out so no worries about pointing and shooting a laser in someone’s eye. The Child Safety Infrared Signal Emission is less than 1mW, this toy is certified safe for children of all ages. We had players from 3 years old to 55 years old and everyone was running, laughing, and having a great time.
It was a rainy day so we were inside hiding around corners, under tables, blankets, and in closets. Outside your battlefield can be a pretty large area with a max strike of 130 feet!
You choose your team colors with the press of the button and choose from bright green, red, blue, or white.
Next pick your ammo! The one touch settings lets you pick a pistol, shotgun, submachine gun, or a rocket. Each one has a different kill rate.
Pistol- 12 pre-load shots with one kill per shot
Shotgun – 6 pre-load shots with two kills per shot
Machine gun – 6 pre-load shots with two kills per shot
Rocket – 1 pre-load shot with three kills per shot
Whatever you choose the sound is totally realistic and you’re ready to defend your territory!
You can change your ammo during the game when you reload with a quick touch.
Each laser lights up when you shoot, creates sound effects, and when you’re hit until feel the vibration of defeat. Nothing is needed to be put on because the built-in receiver on the laser guns are the target! You get 9 lives per game, although our little one figured out how to reset it quickly so we had a lesson in cheating and having fun even when you lose.
The first team was girls against boys- We all hid and planned our strategy, my princess and I came out blazing and kicked butt. TnT (my princes) quickly realized that Mimi wasn’t going to let them win so they devised a plan and defeated us in the next game.
We played game after game laughing and running switching up our teams and playing with everyone against each other. When their parents came in, all three ran with excitement to show them their new talent of a laser tag champion! The guns are super durable and definitely a value for the price.

Usually when I give them new toys, they play with them when we open them and the toys are then forgotten about. They were over the following day and the first thing they did was get the guns and start playing! Each day since……guess what we play???
