As a grandparent, you get to become a “Spoiler”! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard my daughter say, “Who are you?” The grandkids are allowed to eat in the living room, run and jump in the house all they want, and ice cream for dinner isn’t a stretch. One of the things my husband and I miss is going back to school shopping. 
We love to take the grandkids shopping to get unpractical things…..you know, toys, gadgets, and things that annoy their parents, but when it’s back to school time, we stay focused and stick to the theme. This year I grabbed the kids and we went to Boscov’s. Our eight year old prince is very trendy and he is very particular about what he wears and the four year old prince also knows what he wants. 
I knew Boscov’s would have everything they needed but more importantly, Boscov’s would have what the boys want. 
We started in the boys section and both boys were going through the racks like they were looking for gold. These boys know how to shop! As a Star Wars and Avengers Geek, I was so happy that little prince was finding novelty t-shirts on sale for $5.99 and $6.99!!! 
We found great jackets and puffy vests. Prince pointed out how many pockets the vest had!
Once they had all their favorites, it was time to go try them on.
We were so excited to find Nike, Puma, French Toast, U.S. Polo Assn., and many more brands that are trendy! We found Puma jogging pants for $12.99 and Puma shirts for $7.99 in both their sizes (Yes, I like to get them a couple of the same outfits), and Levi’s jeans that fit perfect.
We started getting silly and having fun while trying everything on! 
The boys decided to do a little bit of modeling their favorites!
As they walked through and grabbed clothes of the racks filling my arms, my princess waited patiently for her turn. While she waited she found a couple purses that went with her outfit.
My princess may be in nursery school but this grandma is making sure she’s the best dressed toddler! It was now her turn! OMG, the adorable dresses and outfits were so off the cuteness factor chart. 
After we finished trying on pants, shirts, hoodies, and jackets we headed over to check out the shoes and backpacks.

Truthfully, it was hard for me to not go into my section because half my summer wardrobe is from Boscov’s and I know I’d find a ton of fall clothes that I’d love. Self control is easy when I’m with the kids, well unless they’re talking me into something.

The kids did such a great job shopping and trying on their clothes, we decided we needed to check out the shades and have some fun! Can I add that I scored on three pairs of cheater glasses for $2.99 each. I figure they’re needed for back to school to see the beautiful art they’ll be bringing me.
I know you have a blast too when shopping with your grandkids and taking them school shopping is the one time of year that you can be practical and make mom and dad happy too. The best part is we are able to get affordable and FUN clothes for all the kids! You will get the most for your dollar on brands you love while getting everything you need from clothes to accessories at Boscovs!
