There are so many fall traditions when it comes to cooking. When the leaves started turning it meant that there would be all kinds of apple desserts and my favorite was my Grandms’s Apple Crumb. When I was little it seemed like someone was always cooking in the kitchen. My mom cooked often but something about grandma’s cooking always made it better. It was as if she had magic spices that made it the best in the world. There are lots of recipes that have been passed down from my grandmother to my mom and then to me. Although it tastes good I still think my grandmother or mother makes it better. Maybe my grandchildren will someday think I have magic but for now, I’m going to enjoy cooking these recipes in my grandma’s footsteps.
I hope you try this recipe and love it as much as I do!
