While growing up I saw many family members and friends struggle with their weight, I was fortunate because I could eat whatever I wanted and I never had to worry. If I did add a few pounds it was very easy for me to drop the extra pounds by eating less for a few days and I would be right back on track. One person I watched on the roller coaster of weight gain and loss was my mom. I heard her worries and struggles. It took my mom about 10 minutes to complete the test. Home DNA makes it so easy, there really isn’t an excuse to NOT do it. Once you receive your kit which has everything you need, you follow the directions and mail everything back to the lab.
- Register your kit online with your informaion
- Write the same information on the provided envelope
- Open four swabs and swap the inside of your cheek
- Wave the swabs to dry them and place inside the provided envelope
- Place the envelope inside the pre-addressed, pre-paid envelope and place in the mail
- Wait for your results (Typical turnaround time for getting results is 6 weeks, once samples arrive at the lab)
