How we shop for every day items changes once we have a family. As our kids get older and eventually move out or have cars of their own, our shopping changes yet again. We use our car many times a day running errands, grocery shopping, meeting friends, shopping, to pick up the grandkids, take them shopping, and many other places. When purchasing a car there are many factors you must consider. If you’re a women, the days are over that we want to see a mirror, cup holder, and the pretty color. We want the real facts and we know how to do our research to find the perfect car. Let’s go over how to research buying a car and how to Get A Chauffeur With Your New Kia K900.
I went through the time of buying a car that fit the family, you know the one that was easy to clean when the juice and cheerios were spilled. The car that you didn’t care about the little grimy shoes kicking the back of the seats. We’ve all been there. My time has come, I want a car built for me! I want to turn heads, I want people to say ooooooo what kind of car is that? That’s exactly what I did when I walked up to the new Kia K900 at the Ritz Carlton in Naples Florida. When you see it, you think Luxury, when you get in it, you feel Luxury!
What we want in a car, the research begins:
First create your list of wants.
- Luxury- like I said above I want to turn heads, I want to make sure my car doesn’t go with my workout clothes unless they’re Gucci
- Power- I love my grandmother, but I don’t want my car at her speed. I need power
- Safety- seat belts, airbags, side impact safety, close object notifications, traction (AWD), and overall frame
- Features- Navigation, USB, music, heated seats. This list can get long…. I want it all, including a chauffeur
- The look- It needs to look and feel like luxury.
- Rear Set Entertainment- Long trips require movies or music for whoever should be back there ( a twenty year old or a four year old)
- Chauffeur- I would love someone to drive me around where I needed to go
Ok you may not get an actual chauffeur but the Kia comes very close!
The Luxury Kia K900
The new Kia K900 is all about luxury with it’s elegant style, balanced proportions, and advanced technology
If you know anything about cars, you know Kia has come a long way and while researching and driving the Kia, I was truly amazed at what it offered:
Safety
My kids may be grown but I do have my grandsons in the car and I need to make sure they’re protected. I wouldn’t mind having safety myself too! Here are a few of the important things for me but you may choose others, either way we get them all.
- Dual Front Advanced Airbags
- Dual Front and Rear Seat-Mounted Side Airbags
- Full-Length Side Curtain Airbags
- 3-Point Seat Belts for All Seating Positions
- Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children (LATCH)
- Rear Child-Safety Door Locks
- Vehicle Stability Management (VSM)
- Traction Control System (TCS)
- Side-Impact Door Beams
- Front and Rear Crumple Zones
- Impact Sensing Auto Door Unlock
Performance
Horsepower- 420 hp @ 6,400 rpm (So this baby can go fast!)
Torque- 376 lb-ft @ 5,000 rpm (It has the get up and go) Don’t know what torque is? Your car gets to 70 mph is 5.5 seconds, my car gets to 70 mph in 3.2 second- My torque is better than yours- Get it? You want both HP and Torque!
The Drive
The Kia K900 is very roomy and the drive is quiet and extremely comfy. Two of my favorite features were the Surround View and the Head-Up Display. The Surround View Monitor utilizes four externally mounted cameras to simultaneously provide real-time video of the K900’s surroundings and show an all-around, bird’s eye-like view on the 9.2” monitor. Tanya and I decided to take a little Florida west coast road trip. After eating dinner it was dark and when we got in the car and started driving, I noticed the MPH in the windshield. Of course I yelled OMG check that out! Tanya couldn’t see it and I’m sure thought I snuck wine at dinner. Come to find out the passenger can’t see it and it was projected on the windshield so I can see it but it didn’t obstruct my view or distract me at all. I not only could see my speed without looking down but when we set the GPS, that also projected up for me. Love This Feature!
The inside of the car itself makes you feel like you’re surrounded by luxury…..every bit of it. I was blown away by this car and if I wouldn’t go to jail, I would have driven it back to CT to keep it! Music is very important to me too and the stereo didn’t suck with it’s 17 speakers…that’s right seventeen!
Overall I was amazed by the Kia K900. Beauty with power, my kind of car. Check out more about Kia K900

That is a nice car and I am so ready to leave the minivan mom model as soon as I can afford it.
