Whether it’s our lips, butts or stomachs, we all want to have more curves. The science is simple: curves never go out of style. From Monroe to Kardashian, glorious curves are always in vogue. Enhancing your curves is easy, once you know how, and you don’t have to resort to desperate measures to obtain the perfect hourglass figure.
Dress to impress
It’s all about how you dress when it comes to enhancing your curves. While everyone loves a skinny legged jean, it’s all about the bootcut look if you want to show off your hips and butt. The bootcut jean is flared on the bottom which balances out with your hips, ergo it flatters your shape, and the same goes for tailored trousers. Often, many of us opt for black and grey tones in our wardrobe to make us look more slender. But, if you choose bright white tones on the areas that you want to show off, you will appear curvier without looking larger. Who knew color played such an important part too?
Of course, many of us love wearing dresses, especially for a big night out. The best kinds of dresses for showcasing your killer curves are pencil styles. Think Christina Hendricks in Mad Men, and you’re on the right lines. Figure hugging pencil dresses and skirt hide a multitude of sins, but also allow you to covet that curvaceous look too.
Sculpt your body
OK, it’s time to get real – we all have lumps and bumps. That’s OK. Some of us embrace them, others want to hide them. If you’re more of a ‘hide it’ kind of girls, that’s cool. There are some easy ways that you can do that. Spanx pants are perfect for sucking in fatty deposits. Everyone loves a pair of ‘sucky in pants’ as they’re perfect for a quick fix on a night out. While they can be a little uncomfortable, they do offer a short-term solution to hiding your lumps and bumps.
If you want something that is more long-term in regards to your curves, liposuction is another way that you sculpt your body with ease. Lipo is becoming more popular with many ladies who want a permanent solution to their problem areas.
Of course, surgery is not for everyone so you may want to take the more natural route. If that’s more like you, look at getting involved in HIIT exercises or cross fit to ensure that you are a lean, mean curvaceous machine.
And, at the risk of sounding like a broken record, you need to make sure that your diet is impeccable too. Plenty of water, fruit and vegetables will help you maintain a killer body that is the envy of all your friends.
Killer curves ahead
When it comes to your body, you know what is best. Dress to impress, choose the right clothes and colors that maximize your glorious thighs and bum and look at ways that you can sculpt your body with ease. Curves are never out of style, whether it’s 1957 or 2017.
