I have been lucky in life, never needing to diet and still able to eat what I want. Then came peri-menopause which changed my life dramatically! I’m not talking about hot flashes, it changed how my body reacted to food, sleep, and daily activities.

One of my problems (so I thought) was I didn’t eat until around 1pm and I snacked late at night. I tried to do what I was told by so many and eat three meals a day, cut out the junk food, exercise, and go to bed the same time every night. This wasn’t working for me, I think, or at least feel like I gained weight.

When I saw the name, “Always Eat After 7 PM”, I felt like the book was calling me. During the first couple of chapters, I found myself thinking, “Yes, this is me. Yes, that’s exactly what happens to me”. I decided this may be just what I needed to lose weight, boost my metabolism, and overall get healthier.

I was shocked to find out based on surprising science, Always Eat After 7 PM debunks popular diet myths.  There’s an easy-to-follow diet that accelerates fat-burning and allows you to indulge in your most intense food cravings: Eating the majority of your calories at night. This was me spot on! My most challenging times to curb hunger are just before bed and in the morning. When I found out I needed surgery, my 1st thought wasn’t the procedure. It was the fear of being handed opioids again with no real choice.
