College Cooking – From Mom with Love
Beef Stew in the Crock Pot
- 1.25 lbs Chuck Stew Meat- Cut beef into bite size pieces. Make them all about the same size
- 1 can golden mushroom soup
- 1lb bag baby carrots cut in half
- 5 large or 10 small red potatoes skin on cubed in half or quarters
- 1 cup onion –Fresh or frozen diced
- 2 Tablespoons diced garlic (fresh or jar)
- 1 Tablespoon spice
- Add all ingredients to the crock pot
- Add ½ can of water
Mix together well. Put on lid and set to high
Cook for 5 hours
Serve alone or over instant mashed potatoes or noodles
Serves 5 adults or 3 college students
