Easy and Fun Mommy and Me FITness Activities

September 15, 2015 Rachel Ferrucci 1 Comment

Easy and Fun Mommy and Me Fitness ActivitiesThe title of Mommy is one of life’s busiest jobs. You are on the go constantly and baby determines downtime. Mommy’s “Me Time” is very hard to come by and unless you are really into exercise, you would probably rather spend that time with a book or glass of wine relaxing. Although we are always on the go, we don’t really have exercise.

Wouldn’t it be great to make playtime into the Mommy and Me FITness hour? Well you can!!!

Exercise

Consistent and Flexible

Pick the same time each day and plan on at least 45 minutes. At first you may find that baby wants to play his/her way but as you stick to your routine baby will join in and if not, go with it. Don’t be surprised if baby starts to do their own exercises like falling down, rolling over, or climbing on you. Remember be flexible, this is fun time for baby. Maybe baby will come up with their own move and you can follow them.

Drinks

Have both a drink for you and a drink for baby ready to sip when needed.

IMG_3126Clothes

Make sure to have on the proper clothes so you can move freely. Baby should also have the proper clothing, including a diaper that can move with baby. In our case my little prince loves to be in a diaper only (when in the house). Pampers Cruisers is a diaper line geared towards active babies and toddlers (diaper sizes: 3 through 6) which allow little ones to move and play freely with Pampers best protection and fit.

IMG_3123Teaching

You are teaching baby to have fun, how to have a schedule, keeping hydrated when playing, and most important, you are bonding! Remember not to take this too seriously. You may be doing a rep of ten and only get to eight to chase after baby.

Walking

Flowers and animals

When you take a walk you’re getting exercise and also getting you and baby into the fresh outdoors. Make it interesting for baby and point out birds, flowers, clouds, and anything else that may catch your attention.

Colors and sounds

Make it a learning session going over colors. Pretend to look for other animals and ask what sound they make. Singing songs are always fun too!

Clothing

Be sure to wear the correct clothing and shoes for the weather. Don’t forget hats and sunscreen even if it’s cloudy.

Why Pampers Cruisers?

Pampers Crusiers now feature three new “Extra Absorb Channels” in the diaper’s core which helps distribute wetness evenly so it stays drier and doesn’t sag like ordinary diapers. Pampers Cruisers still provides up to 12 hours of protection to help baby stay drier – plus the new channel design will reduce sag. As a result, babies can move, play and explore their world with a comfortable, better fitting diaper.

Let Baby Be Free

Stop the Sagging!
A saggy diaper can restrict how a baby moves and plays and as babies grow and explore their world, they need a diaper that will keep up with them for both dryness and fit.  The new Pampers Cruisers give baby the freedom to move and play in their own unique way, bringing out their own one-of-a-kind SWAG!  Taking babies from sag to swag one bottom at a time, Pampers Cruisers will be celebrating every joyful wobble, crawl, run, skip, bounce and movement that makes each baby so uniquely special. Think of “Swag” as your baby’s unique personality and the movement that makes them who they are. Swag in this case is more about movement, not necessarily style.

Interesting Info About Pampers Crusiers
Following a recent survey, Pampers found that more than 80% of moms who notice sag are bothered by saggy diapers, and that more than three-quarters of moms (78%) feel that saggy diapers can weigh their baby down. The three channel absorbent core design in new Pampers Cruisers responds to this parent insight and represents four years of research and development.

•      Following testing of the new Pampers Cruisers, moms shared that the new diaper allows their babies to move more freely with 89% stating that it reduced bulkiness between the legs, and 91% said it distributed and locked wetness evenly.
•      As part of Pampers commitment to supporting the happy, healthy development of each baby and making life #BetterforBaby, Pampers will make a diaper donation at each Pampers Cruiser stop, continuing the brand’s mission to provide millions of diapers for families in need each year.
•      Pampers diapers have three layers of protection and a thin core to help lock away wetness and provide up to 12 hours of protection. Pampers Cruisers feature fun Sesame Street® character designs and include wide, stretchy sides to help the diaper stay in place and flex comfortably with baby’s every move, for Pampers best fit.
o   While the design of Pampers Cruisers has changed, the diapers are made from the same safe and mild materials as before.

•      Pampers has a long and rich history of caring for the happy, healthy development of babies for over 50 years.  Pampers has and will always be inspired by babies – and our products help get babies the most out of love, sleep and play.

Why did no one warn us that menopause would turn our bodies into a crime scene… Dryness. Pain. Sneezing roulette. UTIs showing up uninvited. And doctors smiling politely and saying, “That’s just aging.” Cool. Love that for us.

Say Hello to Silky Peach Cream 🍑 A bioidentical estriol cream that works locally to rebuild thinning tissue, restore moisture, and bring back comfort where it actually matters. Not a Band-Aid. Not a $350 prescription. Not a lube that disappears by lunchtime.

Estriol is the gentlest form of estrogen our bodies naturally make, and Silky Peach Cream puts it back exactly where menopause took it away. Over time, tissue rebuilds, moisture returns, and suddenly intimacy doesn’t feel like sandpaper and regret.

Two pumps nightly. Then maintenance. Because it took years to get this dry… it’s okay if it takes a little time to feel normal again.

I’m done whispering about menopause. I got my life back. And my peach is happy again!

I didn’t expect this to be the hardest part of getting older.

If sex hurts. If you avoid intimacy. If you dread wiping.

It’s not “just dryness.” It’s estrogen loss. And yes, it’s fixable.

Menopause doesn’t ease in quietly. It shows up hot, uncomfortable, and disruptive. And for way too long, women are told to whisper about it or accept it as “just aging.” I’m done with that.

Silky Peach Cream helped restore moisture, rebuild thinning tissue, and bring back comfort where menopause took it away. Not a quick fix. Not a Band-Aid. Just real, gradual relief that made me feel like myself again.

Two pumps. Some patience. And a lot less suffering.

Stop whispering about menopause. You deserve relief. You deserve joy. Your peach deserves to be happy again.

Get the details and try it for yourself at the link in my bio.

In paid partnership with #NoPainPact and with the support of #VoicesforNonOpioidChoices.

When I found out I needed surgery, my 1st thought wasn’t the procedure. It was the fear of being handed opioids again with no real choice. After my last surgery, opioids were the only option I had, my insurance didn’t cover the non-opioid alternatives I specifically asked for. That showed me how quickly exposure can happen. Many people don’t realize that about 1 in 10 patients who receive opioids after surgery will struggle with long-term use. That’s nearly 4 million people per year. It’s no secret that opioids can lead to addiction, & we should be much louder about the fact that there are non opioid options that can be used during surgery to manage pain afterwards.
Medicare already recognizes this & separately reimburses for FDA-approved non-opioid pain treatments, proving these options are real & available. Yet insurance barriers often make them difficult or impossible to access. Instead of making decisions about my recovery with my doctor, insurance policy made them for me. As I prepare for my next surgery, I want access to every option that reduces my exposure. I know how easily things can escalate. I’ve seen opioid use continue far longer than intended. It can tear apart families before anyone realizes what’s happening. What starts as short-term pain management after surgery becomes something no one ever expected, simply because safer options were never offered. It’s frustrating that some major insurers still haven’t expanded coverage the way Medicare has. #UnitedHealthcare is one of the companies whose restrictions make it harder to access FDA-approved non-opioid surgical pain options. Because of their size, these decisions affect millions. Surgery shouldn’t be a gateway to opioid addiction. Medicare covers these options. UnitedHealthcare & others need to do the same so patients aren’t pushed toward opioids by outdated policies. Patients & families deserve better.
