Listen, we all know how crazy life can get. We all say we have “no time to workout.” As women, most of us are masters of multi-tasking and over loading.
No Time to Workout?
Currently, I am running multiple businesses, planning on selling our pad and trying my hand at blogging, raising two little ones and constantly training others. Yet somehow, I always find time to get my workouts in. I might not always have time for a full workout, where I go on a long run or get the gym, but I always have time to sweat no matter what.
Despite being crazy busy, I always make training a priority and so should you! YOU DESERVE IT!!
That’s why today I am bringing you two 20 minute workouts that you can do at home, or at the gym, with just one or two 5lb weights. All you need to do is carve out 15- 20 minutes a day and follow the workout. I will give you two full body workouts that are designed to be used when you are short on time and/or equipment. These are great workouts for those of you just starting out, or to use at home or in a hotel gym when getting to the gym for barbell training is not an option.
Although I suggested light weights, you can certainly use heavier or lighter depending on your fitness level. Now, have fun and get your sweat on biatches!
Workout A
- 1-Squat x8-12 reps
- 2-Plank x30-60 seconds (or any plank progressions)
- 3-Reverse lunge x8-10 each leg
- 4-Bent over row x5-10 each arm
- 5-Jump squat x8-10
*Rest as necessary and repeat up to 5 total rounds*
Workout B
- 1-burpees – with a high jump
- 2-Pushup or incline pushup x as many as possible
- 3-on leg squat x5-10 each leg
- 4-tricep dips – 20
- 5- jumping jacks with a squat 10- 15
*Rest as necessary and repeat up to 5 total rounds*
