I am participating in a campaign hosted by Centrum®. I received compensation/product for this post. While all opinions are my own, I make no claims about Centrum® as a product or its effectiveness.
I often think if only I started this (insert regimen here) years ago, I would probably be much healthier. By healthier, I mean feel healthy. I don’t have any medical issues but I don’t eat right although I love my veggies, fruit, and fish. I pick all day on junk or don’t really eat. I get exercise when I walk down my stairs to get something. The last time I took vitamins regularly was when I was little and my mom gave me Flintstones. I constantly live in “TomorrowLand”. You know what I mean….. Staring tomorrow I’ll…… (insert the change needed here)! I was asked to participate in a campaign hosted by Centrum® and when I joined I had great intentions to take the vitamins everyday and get on a schedule. They sat on my counter for a week until I finally remembered. I decided I would keep them by my coffee pot so I would remember each day and I actually did it! I’m proud to say I have now been taking my Centrum® VitaMints®, a complete multivitamin that you enjoy like a mint daily. Nine out 10 Americans fall short in getting essential nutrients from food alone.
What I really like is they provide me with essential nutrients, they are chewable and minty. The chewable part makes me feel confident that I’m grinding that baby up so it’s getting absorbed when I swallow it. The refreshingly minty taste makes it yummy so I’m really enjoying these.
I’m leaving Monday for a press trip and I’ll be packing my vitamins. The chewable Centrum® VitaMints® makes it easy when traveling because I can take them at any time with or without food or water.
I thought it was just me who didn’t take a regular multivitamin and then I read this:
Though eating healthy may be a summertime goal, a recent survey from Prevention and Centrum® finds that, although more than 75 percent of Americans believe it is fairly easy to get recommended daily amounts of vitamins and minerals by eating a healthy, balanced diet, nearly half of those polled are concerned they may not be getting enough of one or more key nutrients.
Among those concerned that they may not be getting enough of one or more key nutrients, 60 percent have not changed their diet in the past year to increase the amount of vitamins and minerals they are consuming.
74% of Americans agree it’s a lot easier to eat unhealthy than it is to eat a healthy, balanced diet.
46% of Americans cite lack of time as a reason why they do not eat a healthy, balanced diet.
Survey Methodology: GfK conducted the survey from October 23 to November 1, 2014, on behalf of Prevention and Centrum®. GfK surveyed a total of 1,006 U.S. adults ages 18+ using the GfK online KnowledgePanel®. The margin of sampling error for this poll is +/- 3.3 percentage points (total sample) and is higher for subgroups.
So now that we are taking our #CentrumVitaMints, let’s decide what we will work on next. #ad
