Fall is actually one of the best seasons to grill and these Delicious Chicken and Beef Kabobs will satisfy the entire family. If you know you’ll be short on time, you can prepare your kabobs ahead of time and place them in a large baggie or plastic container and let them sit refrigerated over night in your marinade.
Our recipes always call for Perdue Farms chicken. As a Perdue Farms ambassador, I had the luxury of visiting Perdue’s farms and plants. I got to see their entire process first hand from the hatchery, to the farms where the chickens are raised. Each farm is an independent farmer who follows Perdue’s guidelines of the feed as well as NO Antibiotics EVER!
*On a side note- I heard rumors the chickens were neglected at the farms. This is so far from the truth! I walked into the chicken house and there was plenty of space for the chickens. They also had access to go outside, which they really didn’t do because naturally chickens don’t like to be out in the open for fear of their predators. There were also plenty of toys and playscapes for the chickens.

Let’s get cooking!
Ingredients for chicken and beef marinade
- ¼ extra virgin olive oil
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 3 cloves garlic- diced or 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl. Set aside
For the Kabobs
- 8 oz package of beef stew meat
- 4 skinless, boneless Perdue Farms chicken breasts– cut into 1 inch cubes
- 4 small onions, cut into 2 inch pieces
- 3 green bell peppers, cut into 2 inch pieces
- 3 red bell peppers, cut into 2 inch pieces
Add these ingredients to the marinade. You should marinade for at least one hour but 8 hours (in refrigerator) is ideal.
- Skewers (If you’re using wooden skewers, soak for at least an hour)
Alternate meats and veggies on skewers. Heat up grill to medium, oil grates on grill so it doesn’t stick. Place skewers on grill and cook approximately 5-6 minutes on each side.
The best thing about a kabob is you can add whatever veggies you’d like. I sometimes like to add grape tomatoes, mushrooms, yellow squash, or any other veggie that I have laying around!
