This post has been brought to you by Cotton Candy Express – all fun and opinions were my own!
One of the kids, ok MY favorite treats is cotton candy. It’s the first thing I eyeball when we go to an amusement park or a carnival. Cotton candy is fun, beautiful, fluffy, and tastes delicious. When the carnivals and festivals are over in the fall, you have to wait, what feels like forever to get it again! You can now get your very own Cotton Candy Express and make it yourself. This is the perfect addition to the holidays and will make everyone of all ages happy. I’ll be scoring as best grandmother ever when I give the kids their very own cotton candy machine. This holiday we’ll be making fluffy, sweet, homemade cotton candy that is fresh and melts in your mouth! You’ll be provided with your very own cotton candy machine, flavored sugars, and paper cones. Heck ditch the popcorn and surprise the kids with their favorite flavor while watching Christmas movies! This is a great tradition to start!
Are you having a holiday party? Do you have Christmas Eve, Hanukah, or Christmas at your house? This is the perfect crowd pleaser and you will make everyone’s holiday a little more cheerful. Having fresh melt-in-your-mouth cotton candy will bring back that feeling of being a kid and the best part is, it’s yours so when the summer comes, you’ll be set for all your parties and BBQs!
Let’s talk about how easy it is to set up and make your very own cotton candy! #CottonCandyExpress
- Plug in your machine
- Let it warm up for 2-3 minutes
- Shut it off and add the correct amount of your favorite flavor (choose from grape, blue raspberry, or cherry)
- Watch the magic happen and grab your paper cone and start twirling!
- Watch the smiles and giggling start and hand off your delicious treat
- Repeat
Holiday ideas
- Elevate your dessert table by adding cotton candy. I grabbed a piece of styrofoam, covered it with a holiday plastic tablecloth, poked holes in it to hold the paper cones and it created a beautiful display with the cookies and other treats!
- Make smaller puffs – I used lollipop sticks and place them in the tops of cupcakes!
- For adults- Make in front of guests. Place cotton candy in a champagne glass and add Prosecco. It’s a beautiful presentation and tastes delicious. You can also pour into the glass and top off with cotton candy.
- Create your favorite milkshake and top it off with cotton candy.
- When making sundaes, forget the cherry (most kids don’t eat them) add cotton candy on top of the whip cream.
