This Chicken Breast In White Wine Cream Sauce is an easy recipe that will have your family asking for seconds!
Ingredients:
4 Boneless Chicken Breasts
2 TBS Butter
1/2 C Heavy Cream
1 Onion
1 C Chicken Broth
1/2 C Dry White Wine
1/4 C Water
3 TBS Flour
1 TBS Parsley
1/2 TSP Salt
1/4 TSP White Pepper
Directions:
- Melt butter in large skillet
- Slice and chop onion, saute in butter
- Add chicken broth, wine
- In mug, add water and stir in flour (I use a tiny wisk)
- Add cream to skillet
- Add flour & water mixture to skillet
- Add parsley (crushing), salt, and pepper
- Over medium heat bring to a slight boil, stirring constantly
- Add chicken breast and cook each side for 10 minutes (This may need adjustment depending on how thick your breasts are)
If the sauce starts to get to thick, add more chicken broth slowly. Stir well.
