Beauty Tips For Busy & Aging Moms

November 13, 2020 Rachel Ferrucci

mom and child in bedAlthough you’re a busy mom, it doesn’t mean that you can’t feel and look your best each day. You can use the following beauty tips to ensure you love what you see in the mirror and feel confident when leaving the house.

It’s all about getting in a routine that works for you and fits into your schedule. You need to ensure you’re taking good care of yourself and not cutting corners when it comes to your self-care. However, it doesn’t mean you have to spend hours getting ready to look and feel beautiful. There are ways to get the look you want while still managing a busy schedule and kids.

Stock Your Purse

One beauty tip for busy and aging moms is to stock your purse with the necessities. You can spruce up your look and freshen up when you’re on the go this way. For example, carry deodorant, a hairbrush, lipstick, and perfume with you at the very minimum. You may have a hectic routine and be on the fly and go, but it doesn’t mean you can’t look beautiful doing it. You’ll have all you need with you and can apply fresh makeup or do your hair while you’re bopping around town.

Get Dressed & Ready in the Morning

You must take the time to get yourself ready each morning. You’ll feel better and have more energy when you attend to your appearance right from the start. Get dressed and out of your sweatpants and hop in the shower if you need to wake up or wash your hair. You’ll feel much better and more alive when you get yourself ready and look presentable.

Focus on Better Skincare

Your skin is what people see when meeting you, and you want your face to always look flawless and striking. Now you can with ULTherapy, which will lift and tighten the skin on your neck, chin, and brow, so you look younger and more beautiful. Make it a point to take good care of your skin by wearing sunscreen and taking off your makeup each night.

Drink More Water

Another way to keep your skin looking gorgeous and glowing is to drink more water. As a busy mom, you may want to turn to caffeine during the day and alcohol at night, but this will make you feel wired, and you may sleep poorly. Instead, stay hydrated with plain or flavored water and notice how much more energy you have and better you feel each day.

Reduce Your Stress

As a busy and aging mom, you may be feeling a lot of stress and anxiety to be and look perfect. However, too much stress will backfire and can negatively impact your appearance and health. Therefore, commit to activities and habits that help you reduce your stress and put a smile on your face. It may be that you want to meditate or do yoga more or that you take walks during your lunch break to clear your head and burn a few calories.

I didn’t realize how much poor sleep was affecting my trips… until I fixed it.

Waking up tired, adjusting to new places, different beds, time zones… it adds up fast.

Traveling with the AirMini changed that for me. It’s compact, simple, and makes it easy to stay consistent no matter where I am.

Now I actually feel like I’m experiencing my trips, not just getting through them.

Check it out at the link in my bio.

#ad No one tells you that your skin doesn’t just “age”… it changes.

Dryness, dullness, fine lines, that crepey texture… it’s not just time. It’s hormonal.

I kept layering on creams thinking I just needed something “better,” but nothing was actually addressing what was going on underneath.

M4 from @myalloy is different. It’s prescription skincare made specifically for hormonal skin, using topical estriol to help restore collagen, hydration, and elasticity right where your skin needs it.

It doesn’t enter your bloodstream. It works at the skin level. And honestly… it just makes sense.
