Toilet paper is a boring subject but it’s one of life’s essential needs. I never thought toilet paper really mattered until I started traveling a lot. It really does matter! This has made me love my NEW Charmin Essentials Soft and Charmin Essentials Strong. Crazy right?? Lots of TPs claim to be soft and strong and at a valuable price. 
Most hotels are going to buy huge amounts of cheap toilet paper which means you have to use 40-60 squares in order to make sure you got everything and so your finger doesn’t pop through. Yeah I just said it! I’m a freak when it comes to wiping and I get we can wash our hands with soap afterwards but OMG if that happened it would put me over the edge and yes I would CRY!
In public bathrooms you have to add about 5 layers in order to sit and you probably use about 100 squares. We won’t even get into trying to flush with your foot and run out because there are never lids.
At home in my “clean” bathroom I don’t have to worry about layering the sit or my finger popping through especially since I made the switch to Charmin Essentials Strong. I know my bottom will be clean and there will be no dingleberrys. YEP, I said it! It’s happened to all of us and it stinks (no pun intended). I once bought Scott® 1000 TP because it was on sale but I had to use more squares which made me run out of TP sooner, meaning I saved nothing. Charmin Essentials Strong is a quality product but comparable in price to other leading brands. I use less which means I save even more in the end.
My toilet paper has to do more than it’s normal job because I use it for many other things too!
- To apply toner – I use my toner everyday and I literally use one square, fold it up and use it to apply my toner. For those of you thinking, “Why not use a cotton ball?” it’s because the cotton ball sucks up too much of my toner and it’s expensive. If you have a good TP, you only need one square, you use less of your toner, and the TP doesn’t fall apart or soak up more than you need. I know it sounds crazy but these are the things I think about.
- To take off makeup – There’s many products to take off your makeup but at night, just like my mom, I use a cold cream to remove my eye makeup. Tissues are not as soft as Charmin Essentials Soft and I can gently remover the makeup.
- To take off nail polish– Yes I normally try to use cotton balls but when I can’t find them my Charmin Essentials Strong does the trick.
- Making Poppy into a mummy– We have our own celebration before Halloween and the kids get to make Poppy into a mummy. It’s become a tradition that we do every year!
- Cleaning the toilet– When I clean the rim and outside of the bowl, I like to be able to flush the TP down so non of the nastiness is in my garbage can. I also need to be confident that non of the wetness from the cleaner will go through and touch my hands (even when I wear disposable gloves)
I’m totally sharing all my insane thoughts and I obviously get grossed out easy but I’m also money conscious. I want to spend my money on things like vacations, clothes, and shoes. But when I am saving money I have to have quality or in the long run I’m not saving. Ewww. The finger pop through is the worst! I NEVER buy wimpy TP for exactly that reason.
Weak TP is the worst. It’s a disaster waiting to happen! I always get super strong TP to avoid any gross mishaps. Blech.
We love Charmin brand TP. it’s soft and strong at the same time, which a lot of brands aren’t.
I’m not super picky about my brand of toilet paper as long as it gets the job done and its economical. We have a well, so we have to be careful about what brands we purchase; even those which say safe for wells/septic aren’t always usable.
LOL. Oh yes, there is nothing worse when the finger pops through the flimsy toilet paper. I hate that! lol

Charmin is definitely a trusted brand in TP! I also use it to take off my makeup with – so soft and gets the job done!

I hate using weak TP for that exact reason! Charmin is such a great brand, I try to get it whenever I can.

Ever since I’ve tried this brand, I never went back to my old toilet paper! This has exceeded my expectations and I really love having it at home.
We love Charmin we won’t use anything else. It’s really great, and with so many kids its what works best for us!

Charmin is such a great brand! I love that the toilet paper is gentle but strong. No finger pop through!
